Also most people don’t know if you Hooke a fish on the pier and drag it to the beach then you are required to have a fishing license even tho they don’t require it on a pier but the minute you step on that sand you must have it if the gam warden comes but just a fyi
It has been over a year since that fishing trip so I don’t remember all the tackle used, but I usually stay with light line like 20lb braid with 20lb to 30lb fluorocarbon leader with size 1 hook.

Just some advice next time I’m going tmrw to it but I always fish off the beach and it’s better for catching

This guy needs bigger poles stronger line and a net to get them up those are small compared to what I catch

Yes the South jetty but not much luck with catching. 😩
