Nice list! Enjoyed the video! I’d have to give my list some thought, but off the top of my head I’d have to say, Vomatron old town and the Sling Shot at Darien Lake. That sling shot seems to go higher then the others that I’ve ridden. Plus Zippers and Gravitrons, but only in the 80’s when all the carnies would blast Metal Music during the rides

My favourite flat is an old waltzer which used to go to my local fireworks carnival and it was there for about 3 nights a year. It had 3 operators spinning each car rapidly, with strobe lights and smoke effects, and the ride lasted around 7-10 minutes if it wasn't a busy night. As well as all that, it only cost £1 per ride which was insane

To me the best flat ride is a Star Flyer. Those rides give incredible views of the parks and the surrounding land and it just gives people a chance to ride a more extreme version of one of their favorite kids rides. Six Flags Great America, Great Escape, Frontier City, Michigan's Adventure, California's Great America, Dorney Park, Hersheypark, Kennywood, Knoebels, Waldameer, Funtown Splashtown U.S.A, Lagoon, Silverwood, Magic Springs, Alabama Adventures, Indiana Beach, Holiday World, and Wild Adventures are just a few of many parks that could really use on of these.

I’m honestly surprised that Flying Aces came to be your top three! With Lagoon being my home park and having several friends operate the ride (I never did as I haven’t worked there yet but I’m planning to), management actually discourages snapping. Though it can depend on who’s operating the ride. Some ops generally don’t care while others do. Out of all the rides I’ve done on it, I’ve managed to get away with snapping give or take maybe 15-20% of the time. I’ve even had a ride op e-stop the ride because a few teens in three of the planes were snapping most of the ride duration of the ride. So consider yourself lucky you got a ride op that let you have fun. Sometimes if you ask nicely, they may sometimes let you. Just make sure they’re not wearing a red or black uniform as those are generally the higher ups. Awesome video and man, I need to get on some of these rides!

Over the years they have gone through many names like Starship 2000, 3000, 4000, Flight to Mars, Alien Abduction, Alien Invasion, Area 51, Flying Saucer and others. There’s just something about standing against a padded wall within the confines of a spacecraft and spinning at high speed to lights and music and rising off the floor as you stick to the wall. It’s an especially fun ride if it has a chill operator who doesn’t discourage laying sideways and upside down on the wall.

That thing ran itself into the ground with how fast it went, and I have yet to experience anything like that on any other version of that ride. The other one you missed was the Turkish twist. One of the last Rotors in the world, and just an all out insane experience. Especially with that viewing spot on top of the ride so you can see exactly what you are getting into... Personal favorite flat rides (in no particular order)
    1) "Magnum" [MN State Fair] - a typical 'Shake', but this is the only place I've been to that has it, and I LOVE all the motions and flipping!
    2) "Space Roller" [MN State Fair, Meadowlands State Fair] - a typical 'Top Scan', but again, I LOVE how this ride runs!
    3) "Spinout" [various carnivals; 'Maelstrom' at Morey's Pier] - another personal favorite, though I haven't seen it at a carnival in some time, and Morey's Pier recently removed theirs.
    4) "Enterprise" [various locations] - a classic flat ride, but one I have a hard time locating these days, particularly one that allows single riders (the one at the Meadowlands State Fair insists on two people per car)
    5) "Zipper" [various locations] - another classic, and another ride that's hard to get on without someone to ride with.
    6) "Centrifuge" [Casino Pier, Seaside Heights NJ] - an in-the-dark Scrambler, and my favorite such ride of all time. The original was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy, but Casino Pier recently got a new one. Awesome ride!
    7) "Musik Express" [various locations] - I just love the ride, but NOT the Wisdom version (too flat); best IMO is the Reverchon 'Himalaya' model; these days, the only one I've been on of this type is at the Meadowlands State Fair ... and it goes forwards only. (Long ago, this verison was at Seaside Heights ... and it ran a LONG cycle, both ways.)
    8) "Breakdance" - love the ride, but I haven't seen one since both Morey's Pier and Coney Island removed theirs.
