As a life long Celtics fan for over 50 years I'm just so proud of this special team. Congratulations guys.

I always felt that the criticism of the Jays was unfair. They were being punished for being successful early and having never missed the playoffs. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is only a few months you're than Tatum but doesn't get held to that standard. Embiid has never even made it out of the second round.

Hearing negative things about you only hurts if it's true....

These guys are so sympathetic about all of the negative press coverage the players have had to endure. But they are the ones responsible for constant criticisms, the ginning up of trivial issues into major controversies and stirring the pot for clicks on their channel. They say all this as if it was coming from someone else. Sometimes these guys just come across as a bunch of paid shills.

He definitely didn't deserve FMVP and tbh everyone wants to see this Celtics team go through the playoffs against healthy teams. Its not their fault the best player from every team they played during this playoffs was injured but it still sits as a fact. Luka, Donovan Mitchell, Butler, Haliburton all either missed games or played injured

Yet before the finals people were calling Luka and Kyrie the best back court ever. Luka was scoring 30+/- almost every game and now he's injured? By this point in the season every player is dealing with something. Maybe if Luka was in better shape he wouldn't look gassed at the end of these games and literally walking up and down the court in the third quarter last night.

@@chadbinette3201 Luka was still doing his part, his teammates just didn't show up lmao Also people calling him and Kyrie the best back court ever was because no one expected them to carry the 5th seed in the west to a finals when they had to go through some of the toughest teams in the league to do so. Luka's knees and chest were injured. He was dealing with limited movement all playoffs long. He just is so good he STILL lead all stat categories in the playoffs for all players. Maybe if Tatum didn't choke when pressure was on he'd be FMVP but instead games 1, 2, and 4 he played like absolute trash.

@@MmaMadman85 not denying Tatum chokes, been a recurring theme for him. So Luka is so good to lead every star but was limited mobility? Can't have it both ways, he's not exactly a physical specimen. 39 yrs old LeBron is in better shape than 25/26 yr old Luka. Luka is a great offensive player but maybe the Celtics great defense had a little something to do with Mavs scoring under 100 4 of 5 games was it? The NBA has always let teams play a little more physical in the playoffs. Great players elevate in the playoffs and big games if they want to win. Mavs win game 5 I would of started to sweat cause if any team can blow a 3-0 lead it's a Tatum led Celtics team but thankfully jaylen brown and company held on long enough for Tatum to atleast play close to what he's capable of. Honestly Tatum could of scored 50 last night and I would of been disappointed to say the least if he won MVP cause ever since not making all NBA or all defensive team jaylen brown has been on another level on BOTH sides of the ball. Offense sells tickets defense wins championships.

@@chadbinette3201 Yes, Luka lead every stat in the playoffs with limited mobility. Its possible just by having great IQ. Jokic was the first player in NBA history to lead the playoffs in points, assists, and rebounds last year with what pretty much everyone considers as "sluggish mobility". Its very likely that a majority of the Mavs folded under the pressure of the finals when Kyrie started to fold to the pressure of playing Boston. Had the role players hit their shots, and Kyrie played like he did in game 3, the series would still be going on right now. This was Luka's first finals and he was the best player on the floor while being injured. His team let him down, it happens. Jaylen Brown, and Al Horford are the two players im happy for. JB has been the best player on the Celtics but people like Tatums game more for some reason, and Horford finally got his ring.

Tatum deserved the MVP. He led his team in the stats that matter.
