I really appreciate your honesty in these videos. Sometimes thru hiking involves unfun challenges and boring days, and you don't always want to be out there. Sometimes a little bit of sun and washing clothes in a stream helps cheer you up just enough to get through the day. At your place you'll be in the Whites very soon and Katahdin is not as far as it feels right now. Happy trails 😊
Damn Glastenbury fire tower was closed when we were there and Stratton Mountain fire tower was socked in. You had more luck. You are blessed. Happy trails.🤘🏻🥾⛰️

I remember climbing a fire tower somewhere in Virginia or PA on one of my hikes 40 years ago. Two in one day is impressive!
