Holding your sticks in front of you will eliminate those webs. Wearing a bug net will keep them off your face.Since you've returned from your break, you've become increasingly more negative about hiking. Now I realize you've already submitted Katahdin, but consider stopping your hike if it indeed is too much of a boring choir like it seems to be for you.
Great views on this video. Put your hiking stick in front of you as you walk to cut through the cobwebs. I always let my brother lead the hike. He has a branch in front of him at all times. 500 to go . The work is worth the reward !
We spent an evening at The Inn on The Long Trail. Best Reuben sandwich I have ever had. I even got to sing with an Irish group. The bugs are hideous, wow.
