Hearing an engine start for first time during ANY project I have ever done in my lifetime is somewhat akin to hearing a baby cry once born. Satisfying to say the least . Love the series. For all of us that own/love the older trucks and/or can’t afford a new one. It would be cool to do a little series on the upgrades you can do to make an old truck perform like an l5p while towing and unloaded performance. Ex. Built trans/tuning/add a radiator kit/intercooler, etc.

Using the ABS pump to power bleed the brakes with your scan tool makes that task a lot quicker. Just some food for thought.

Just did a bunch of work to my LB7. Including RDS turbo, up pipes and down pipe. It’s a lot cheaper to keep her going vs buying a newer truck. 180,000 miles. Hoping to get it to 400,000.

Just installed my MBRP 4" downpipe back straight pipe and im so jealous of you having the cab and bed off. Jackstands not the way lol just waiting for the 3" PPE downpipe to show up and then im going to tackle that nightmare. Love your videos, thank you!

And what are you gonna do about the holes in the firewall? You’re going to get water seepage into the cab and the floors gonna be soaked unless you patch it

So I see you used glass cleaner for boot install I use hair spray which as liquid helps then when dry acts as an adhesive. Where do you buy your prefab brake lines?
I’m excited to see the upcoming video of how the fuel cooler is working, i am genuinely curious.
I’ve been having this thing with my truck, it runs awesome when it’s cool out, but soon as it gets around like 70 degrees and I’ve been driving more then a hour or so, I start to have this weird idle loop. I think it’s because the fuel is getting to hot. I never have this issue in the winter months though
I feel terrible because my brother-in-law just blew up his diesel engine. It’s gonna be about 15,000 to repair it and he doesn’t have the location and he doesn’t have the place to pull the cab off the truck like you just did. It’s in Indiana right now and it’s a gorgeous truck butit just got to be replaced with the new motor

What was that you sprayed on your pipe when installing clamp.
i saw you used amsoil trans fluid but i highly recomend castrol 668 transyd its formulated specifically for alison transmissions its a little expensive but def worth the money
One dem horse power magazines or does youtube testers or sum1 smart R than me did a test on at least 5 but not more than 10 DIESEL OILS & TRANS FLUIDS that are formulated and approved 4 diesel transmissions and the fluid you suggested (and ive seen recommended by many internet guru"s (had me fooled and on board too🤔🧐🤪🤯😳😱aint gonna lie falls somewhere in the 6th to 9th worst fluids.........I'm gonna go internet train myself on fluids,oils, additives,n i may be back with superior web knowledge. Mmmahhhhey not cum back redtube may have bunches NEW: pawgs, light skinned ebony, and HD black 🖤 haired tatted thick thighed amateurs;*^// CLIPS THAT all in the hardcore section 7:40 to 12.23 minutes long ..just right..can scan through nearly a dozen "good movies" before becoming really sleepy and uninterested all the sudden

You should re install the fuel cooler. They are very much necessary.

Sheeeee, buy my 06 Duramax from me and restore it. Not a hard restoration project. Absolutely no rust at all. New Mexico truck. 15,000 on engine #8 injector let loose popped a hole in the piston. I'm over it.
The engine is going to go or it’s going to blow lol did hundreds of engine overhauls in my 20 years at a Mack dealership

I know what your saying, for some reason these LB7 engines sound like that at first start up and after that it goes away I think it has something to do with the air in the injection lines but it’s all good now

Josh, giving you heads up. I have been messaging you I thought on the other messaging forum and got me for 1412 and some change for a truck that was not a give away. I fell for it and would not do a video call nor talk with me on the phone. If it was you, you got me but reporting it to CZcams, ZELLE AND PAYPAL got me nowhere just lost money. Good things are never true. Maybe your channel was fished.
I tried to warn my viewers in previous videos but there are literally 1000’s of scammers doing this to multiple CZcams channels.
