I just bought one this past weekend from my local Trek bike shop; it was brand new and at a deeply discounted price! It didn't matter that it was a generation 6 vs. today's generation 8 ... it's still fast by today's standards. My old '13 Madone 5.2 has served me well!

I bought this bike about 1 month ago, replacing my old De Rosa protos, which was about 8 years old, equipped with manual Campagnolo Record set and Campa Eurus wheels. I have to say this Trek is a space jump comparing to De Rosa. Frame is very comfortable, everything is aero designed, all details are carefully optimized. Frame and fork are very reactive, in downhill the bike sensible faster than my previous bike. It's pretyy heavy, but based on my average speed data it's faster thanks to aero design and smooth bearings everywhere. Disc brakes are extremely strong, well operable. new 12 speeds Ultegra is extremely fast (8 milisecond) and Bluetooth connection is finally embedded, so you can connect directly to Shimano e-Tube software on your smartphone or computer to do further shifting configuration. There is no need to buy additionally buy Shimano Bluetooth unit and connaection cable + assembly too for additional 150 USD anymore.
Originally, I wanted to buy italian bike (Colnago / Pinarello), but when I saw this bike, I've fortunately changed my mind. I highly recommended this one, I'm very satisfied. (By the way, the bike is very beautiful in the reality, dark blue is reflecting in sunshine with nice contrast with Trek text on the frame. All other bikers appreciate it and congratulate to this bike.

I just picked my Madone SL7 today - wow. Fast, fast, fast. The color has caught everyone by surprise - in a good way. The deep dark blue in the sunlight has small metal flake in the paint. Nice touch.

Madone SL 7 is my dream bike, but unfortunately it is not available in Japan.
I wish Trek Japan would sell it.
    Really love this color.

I got my 2022 SL7 back at the end of December. Mine came with SRAM AXS Force 12 speed. I absolutely love it and have already done some nice upgrades. Including tires, saddle, stem and bars. Thanks for the great review.

I got the same bike 😊 awesome machine ✊ The new Trek Madone 2023 SL7 comes with 105 👎👎 price it’s 8k. I Test bike. It’s nice but it’s needs the iso speed. For long rides it’s going to be sad 😞

Nice but I went with the BMC 01 Three for 2022. Not so much for racing but same build with the Ultegra 8100. Excellent clear review. Can’t go wrong with Trek and for sure Bontrager makes some excellent accessories.

Love your vids, really excellent reviews. Might I suggest including for example whether it's 6 bolt or center lock rotors and if it's Microspline, Sram XD or old Shimano/Sram HG, just a thought

Is this bike too heavy? Do you feel his weight when you ride?

A very good looking bike. Fast just sitting there. Way out of my league and price range. Did you get to ride it around? If you did how did it feel?

The ability to actually work on your bike. Imo, that's the best feature about this, is that it gets most of the arrow gain without all of the pain associated with the fully integrated bikes
