Someone mentioned about hauling cars on the weekend. I already have the truck and straps, I’d just have to upgrade from a one car to a 2 car trailer. Would like to leave 4 pm Friday and be back by 4 pm Sunday in time for the 9-5 on Monday. On average, how much would insurance run for a setup like this? If you were to gross $1k a weekend, how much of that would be eaten up by income tax, insurance, the cost for central dispatch, etc.? Thanks!
Bad idea, not worth it. Not possible because most places like car auctions are closed on weekends and one simple brake down delay on road could make you 1-3 days late on your delivery and back to your 9-5. Don’t put your day job in that kind of risk.

The cost would be prohibitive. Insurance alone will be thousands of dollars a month, plus truck and trailer payment
Yes for the most parts car dealerships & to people homes but, if you're delivering to the port the answer would be no porch or Monday through Friday
no chance most of these companies buying and selling cars don’t operate on weekends
