Cutoff never depends on number of students apply. Because in neet 2020, the 50th percentile was at 142/143 marks with around 14-15 lakh students. In neet 2023 the 50th percentile was at 137 marks with approx. 21lakh students. Hence you know that the number of aspirants increasing is only a peripheral show-off and nothing else. Actually the level of paper is the sole thing to decide the cutoff

I don't say reservation is bad but the system of reservation is not good in india, If this reservation system is that much effective than why not all backward peoples are getting it after 75 years of its Implementation. I think this has to be change. Giving reservation in Competition does't make sense for competition. Reservation should be given by govt. in education/coaching institutes, reservation in fee of high quality coachings so that on exam day all of us at same starting line for competition.
