the havahart video shows the door straight up leveled but yours and mine rest slightly downward lol. i put a piece of bread in there for rats and i'll see what happens. the sensitivity thing is a good point.

My prop rod gets caught on the cage on the way up and doesn’t allow the door to close 🤦🏻‍♂️

Should be added that this is catch and release, non lethal. Releasing "our little friends"? just continues the cycle of what a pest is.
