This video is awesome and your patience is phenomenal. Unfortunately I was out with friends and couldn't catch the live session. I'm so glad you said what you said about limiting your options. I'm always getting DMs from other beginning producer friends about some new VST or technique they saw on youtube from XYZ content creator. When I ask why they think they needed it, the response is always "I'll have more options!" I usually reply "Yes, and you'll get less done."

That Hardcore track you pulled up momentarily when you were searching for a vocal to demonstrate with earlier on approx the 15-18 minute mark sounded class! 😂🙌🏾 was gutted to see it passed on haha but there was no vocal in it to be fair. Is it uploaded anywhere? 👀

3:00:55: Regarding hearing protection during live performances, is there anything better than 25dB NRR custom earplugs? (better in terms of hearing loss prevention) thanks!
25 is a lot! Remember 6 is double / half. I don't know much more about what ear plugs are out there sorry.
