- In this video Mr. Rambo and I show off my new Austin Racing Exhaust. I show the installation process. I do a sound test with the OEM vs the Austin Racing Exhaust. It sounds and looks amazing. I'm more of a Japanese super sport guy myself but if I was to buy a Ducati this is the exact bike I would buy. I tried riding at Ducati super sport a couple times and they are just so uncomfortable lol

Sounds great! I ordered mine a month ago, based on your reply to one of your other comments I guess I still have another month before I get it. ☹️ I guess it’s worth the wait. Are you planning to do the clear clutch cover? If so just be aware that some have 3 spring setup and some have a 4 spring setup. In any case good luck and thanks for the video.
You will love the sound of the Austin slip ons. I always use earplugs when riding and listen to music. Just the other day I was in a hurry and forgot to put them in. Oh man, the exhaust was way too loud. I had to stop and put them in. You will definitely be heard in traffic.
These are only slip ons too.
I got a black clutch cover guard , it’s not the clear cover so I don’t need to take the cover off. My personal opinion is that the clear covers are a little too much bling. I like the way it looks now. The reason for getting the guard is more because my boots are starting to scuff the cover. The guard will help with that. Thanks for the heads up on those springs.

I like the sound! Did you just do the slip on’s? No mapping etc?
Yes only the slip ons, even with these alone it sounds incredible. I didn’t want to do the decat and remap because it would have voided my extended service plan.

Ben Dare All together it was about $1100 . It took approximately two months to get them. Due to covid , Austin Racing is 8 weeks behind on orders because of less staff. They actually make them when ordered. They really do pay special attention to detail. The quality is very nicely done.

I’m thinking of buying one of these,I’m 5 ft 9 in height,is the sp higher than the standard model ? Wondering if I can get my feet on the tarmac
SP is a little taller. You should be ok at 5ft 9.

It’s slip ons only.
@@myhypermotard8351 so, does that mean no dbkillers then?? The termis on my monster are slip ons too, but they have removeable db killers. Which i removed of course :3
@@supasye sorry, I was thinking the Decat. The slip ons are the way they came. Still have db inside, I didn't touch them.

It took approximately 7 to 8 weeks.

I think this was already asked but couldn’t find it in the comments. How long did it take to receive the slip on? I’m at 7 weeks right now
When I ordered it , it took about 6 weeks or so. Now things have changed so it may take longer.
What type/brand is the license plate mount. If you could post the link on here that would be great. Exhaust sounds awesome.

How easy/hard was the installation? And also I know you mentioned it already regarding the tune....but overall, how is the bike running with the slip ons since it has no tune? Thank you
@@kevinmelesio3611 The installation was easy. The instruction not very clear, that is why I was looking at the installation video.
As for how the bike runs with the Austins, amazing. So far this bike has never let me down, it runs and sounds great. No remap needed.

No, not at all.
why AR ove SC project? I am trying to decide between those two
I was in your shoes trying to decide which I wanted. After hearing the AR in person, I was was convinced. It sounds deep and just an awesome sound to it.
I think it is a personal thing, some people love one or the other but they both sound great. Best thing is to find someone that has one and check them out in person. Like I said, either way they are both nice.

Nice one man, I went full Termi with mine....I have had a 7 week break from riding it because I had an international work trip which involved 2x14 day ISO.....im dying to go rip the twisties!
Are you positive there is no remap required sir?? You do realize one of your header pipes is shorter than the other and the bike already runs pretty damn lean from Ducati. I’m curious to see if you burn up your valves on the short side in a few hundred miles. Good luck and keep us posted. Does sound amazing.
Everyone I spoke to including Austin Racing said no remap necessary. Since I put them on, i have put on about 400 miles. Remember, I only put on the slip ons . I didn’t remove decat.

I mounted the Lic plate using an L bracket from Amazon

Gonçalo Barros I can try and make a video. The thing is that the screws are mounted under the battery. I don’t want to disconnect and remove the battery all over again.
I can at least try to explain how I did it on video.

I am not taking the decat off. It runs perfect for what I like.
So its black ceramic, and just stickers, not color etched logos ? Also black tips?
I believe it is Titanium, logo is not a sticker, it’s laser etched , pretty solid. Yes black tip probably titanium as well.
This thing is very well made for sure.
@@myhypermotard8351 so you sure you ordered but not sure? Was Titatinum you selected, or black ceramic? Also looks from video like stickers, cause laser etched is not color, and color etched looks not as colorful .. Would be great if you checked what exactly you ordered !

For what reason has the dog to be on your arm while testing an loud exhaust ? Im not trying to hate you, but he's clearly uncomfortable beeing in the area of that loud exhaust.
He was actually fine, I’ve started this bike many times with him around since he was little. That is the reason I don’t rev the bike loud when I had him in my arms.
Thanks for your concerns regarding the dog. I’m a dog lover and would never put him in harms way.

Not sure if it is legal in Germany. Here in the states putting on slip ons only is legal.
Some police officers do not bother you even with a full exhaust setup, it depends on their moods..

Youre right. In Germany we have Emission Standards so That you Arent allowed to drive whitout db Killer and the db Killer has to be welded

Hey Tito, unfortunately, I sold the bike. I ended up getting a job transfer and couldn’t really take the bike to work anymore. I ended up getting a Tesla, and I thought I would ride the bike more often, but unfortunately, I didn’t ride it enough. Just no time to ride. So I ended up selling it. I do miss the hell out of it though.

Sound nothing without flybys
After having these for a while now, I still love the sound while ridding it. I get many compliments in traffic, thumbs up's and looks in my direction. Absolutely would buy these pipes again .
