Use your multimeter set on amps to see if you've got a parasitic drain on the battery Charlie.
I tried and couldn't find any drain. I think she's been unlucky and bought 2 bad batteries.
well sir you’ve done it again i like the way you buy 2 or three so always got something todo while waiting for parts nice one mate let’s see what they need and how you sort them all very interesting the other one with battery loss that’s a headache isn’t it but you might strike lucky and find it on the first thing you test but you have already said not stator or regulator so more like a bad earth or like rear bulb getting water in and making it do funny things but let’s hope it’s easy i seen a clip of you saying your excited about buying your dream car i will look back and see if i can find film it’s great when you get something you really want and have wanted for a long time makes it special ❤love the channel mate you do a great job saving these bikes that might otherwise be scrap and helping people with small pockets get on the road your a good man ❤
Hi Neil. It's a porsche cayenne 3.2. It's notoriously a bad car overall bit I've always wanted to own a porsche and this feels like a cheapish way in. So far it's stunning. So hopefully I get a year or 2 out of it.
Probably bad diodes in the regulator rectifier.

Mine has a battery voltage in the dash and mine gets only to 12.6 while running around town which seems a bit low and would explain why it struggels to start but this is my 3rd stater and i still dunno what the issue is charlie 🤷♂️
12.6 isn't charging properly. It could be a regulator problem, stator problem, wiring or battery. Normally I change one thing at a time until I find the issue.
I would rule out battery for now and focus on wiring incase one has split etc.
Your stator is changed so I would thing reg or wiring. Check the connector block that comes from the stator and make sure all the wires are connecting properly.
