You can't help but laugh at how easy he makes it look.
That's the secret. It IS easy. We humans make it far too complicated and often we do not see the path of least resistance in Jiu-Jitsu.

I always fan boy whenever I see a black belt at work, especially one like JJ Machado. They understand the human body so well, so much knowledge and experience that they, even getting up in age, they can just toy with competitors or partners. Amazing

Simply awe inspiring. Even as a purple belt, I relish the opportunity to roll with the black belts because it’s always the most effortless, artistic and encouraging experience. I always learn so much kinesthetically that sticks with me for months/years.

I’ve asked this question a ton and no one ever answers but… can anyone explain why black belts always tie their belt in a super loose way that makes it just fall off right away? Is it advantageous to have the belt come off?
