onewind hammock camp in a rainstorm

in this video i go hammock camping in the cairngorms national park. i hiked through bog and fern and found a place to set up my onewind hammock and tarp stated a fire made some food and crawled into my hammock. not knowing that there was a storm brewing, storm babet hit the north east and central highlands of scotland causing alot of trees to fall and rivers breaking their banks.
i packed up the next morning and made a decision to go home because it wasn't safe to hammock camp between trees with high winds

I hate the wind, worse type of weather for camping I think! Definitely did the right thing to head home, better to be safe than sorry!

Hi karen Yea onewind is good gear, i had no idea there was going to be a storm i dont watch the news or anything thats just my luck plan a 2 day trip and get caught in a storm. I hate the wind aswell i work in all weathers so its not for me. Thanks for watching hope your well much appreciated !!!
