This video is from when we were in Telegraph Creek, BC, Canada. We hope that everybody from this area is ok and that the fires from last summer did not affect that beautiful place that much! Hope you enjoy like we did, this beautiful ride to Telegraph Creek! Don’t forget to leave us a message! 😎😊😉😍
I was there on three occasions. Once during the fire, and twice after to assist on rebuilding. The fires were still burning in the distance in December. The old town near the river was untouched, however 30 homes and buildings burned down from the fire. If I remember correctly, the community was reopened around December 20 last year. The Tahltan First Nation did an exceptional job getting every house cleaned up. Removed every burnt house and even brought in new sixty foot Modular Homes (yes up that road). Exceptional spirit!
Imagine driving in there at 10 years old in the early 70’s in a large 1966 Chrysler car in the pitch black and you had never been there before, thank’s for an unforgettable experience mom and dad! The road and the place hasn’t changed at all in 50 years, it is stunning.

Beautiful! Thank you for sharing. My wife's great-great grandfather was the first white trader to settle in Telegraph Creek. His grandson built the house above the old Anglican Church. The first house you see (in sad disrepair) as you come down the hill into the old ghost town is the house my wife's grandmother grew up in, which we purchased last year. Both her grandmother's dad and her grandfather's dad married local women, so we have a strong family connection with this beautiful area.
we will be heading down that road in August!

Gorgeous country, been up there a number of times as a teenager. Switchbacks and steep inclines. Memories
Bell 2 Lodge is beautiful. We had dinner and stayed overnight.. The food in the dining room was awesome. I had spareribs and Nancy had the Arctic Char!

OH man.... we have also been to Bell II ! We had to camp there over night as the gas station there was closed at 9pm.

This is really beautifull, we own an RV and only travel regular roads across Europe, but I wish I could afford this lifestyle it is perfect

Excellent video!!! Captured that area so beautifully. We lived in Dease Lake one summer for work. Did the drive to Telegraph 2 times. Absolutely beautiful scenery but for myself that is afraid of heights - had a hard time doing that drive. But can say I have done it !!!
