- I traveled to Johannesburg to spend the day with Gabriel Du Preez also known as Tokkie and his friends. Tokkie was born in Fietas which is a suburb in Johannesburg. In 2010 he was introduced to one of south Africa's most successful music groups, Die Antwoord. He was adopted by Yolandi Visser and Ninja when he was nine years old.
After spending many years with the musical group Tokkie is now living back in Fietas with his older brother.

I was born and bred in Joburg, but never been to Fietas. It looks very similar to the satellite cities in Brazil. They need capoeira.

I always liked Die Antwoord and thought their music was cool but after all that shit that happened, I just can't let it fly. I'm now a fan of Tokkie, he and his friends are such humble guys and I can tell they are good friends. I hope the best for them. They should make videos or start a podcast or something, I would definitely watch it.

Tbh his accusations against Die Antwoord are dodgy. It seems while they were not proper parents by any stretch, the things he says happened were more neglect and inappropriate conduct rather than sexual abuse. If there was actual abuse, why hasn’t there been any charges brought against them?

Die Antwoord said that Tokkie was a drug addict and asked them for money for drugs. So why did Die Antwoord become hated? Ninja and Yo-Landi refused to financially sponsor the junkie. He was already of age and could work by himself! In addition, you will never know by appearance whether Tokkie is a drug addict. I don't treat Tokkie and DA badly, but I want some people to open their eyes! DA they could not just kick him out and cut off all ties, he is their adopted son! This is a lesson for Tokkie
