As a Canadian, never actually take your car to the Canadian Tire auto shop. You can buy anything there but don’t give them your car.
Learned this rule of thumb growing up. If you're getting Corrosion Free sprayed this winter, you can go literally anywhere else.
Seconded. It's a pain anyway because they won't let you make an appointment.

To me as a German it is mind boggling hearing someone saying that he has never seen snow. Wow. I know there are many regions in the world were it´s never cold but still... wow
There’s some parts of Australia that gets quite a good amount of snow, but they are nowhere near Adelaide lol

Glad you enjoyed Canada! Just remember never to ask those idiots at Canadian Tire to fix your car. It's like bringing your laptop to a vet to get it fixed.
Or bringing your laptop to a bestbuy xD
Id sincerely like to know which colossal moron decides to hire actually licensed mechanics, and still letting luber goobers do the work
@@vinylmodsmanitoba yeah Best Buy wanted to charge me 200 bucks just to look at it once
This is the golden rule.
I can vouch for this when I was in high school back in 99 I worked there as an installer doing tire and oil changes, I never had a drivers license and they would toss me peoples keys and send me out to drive customers cars in...... needless to say I backed one through the garage door lol.. It was during a cold Canadian winter and i just finished putting winter tires on a car and I opened the door in my bay to back out and I hopped in the car and a mechanic was walking by and thought I just pulled in and was cold so he dropped the door and I backed right into it.
As a Canadian I never thought much about this until recently, but I’ve come to conclude that Canadian tire is more like Canada’s garage or shed… anything you might find there is generally related to something you might store in your garage or shed.. a mini fridge? Yep that’s for beer, canoes, bikes, big old storage bins, gardening tools, regular tools, spare lightbulbs, stuff for house repair, paint, cleaning products, buckets, camping shit, hockey shit… you name it. If it goes in the shed or garage than you can find it at Canadian tire. Also most people tell you not to bring your car to their garage but if you’re in a small town then the opposite might be true! It depends on the crappy tire.
As a canadian, you should never expect timmies coffee to be anything more than "tolerable"

One thing you're gonna learn here Wade, is that Canadians REALLY love when people talk about Canada. Like the younger brother who doesn't get as much attention
