Some comments mention that I accidentally switched up some of the games. I am really sorry for that, I didn't wanna know who won what maps so I wouldn't spoil myself and I assumed I had received the games in the correct order. I should've asked someone else to tell me the correct order of the maps to circumvent this problem. Really sorry for this and I will make sure it will never happen again in the future.

Equally impressive: Harstem actually called it "hold fire" rather than "hold position"
And if it happened against terran, he still would have lost to 12 ghosts.
@@fjoiewafno I think Lurkers have a literal hold fire command. Since hold position doesn't stop the attack.
Harstem admitting he couldn't beat an Ultralisk in a 1-on-1 fight is the type of honesty we appreciate from casters.
48:00 - 54:00 notice how Dark reduces his drone count as part of the strategy. Since he's hardly losing any resources, he can increase army size and lower his economy early on.
Then there is Reynor with 40 probe over saturation per base
I like how Harstem calls Dark dead for 20 minutes and he still somehow manages to stay alive and kicking pretty great for the whole map 7 :D

26:16 yes, pilot sits on the top part of the ship. It seems to be small, but the problem is the unrealistic scale of the units in SC2, and if you will compare it with Phoenix it is about the same scale of the cabin.

16:00 I really enjoy watching Reynor play because of these surrounds set ups he makes, I remember he did something similar while playing Terran as well, makes the fights look so good.
Yet he got eliminated in the GSL because his surround setup was terrible, what irony.
Though I find the decision of Dark questionable, setting up in such a crossing. I mean, a 360 surround was the one way a ground army can possibly beat that amount of lurkers

I would like to see starcraft, or a game like it, played in competition 1v1 but where each player has a team of strategists, with some sort of pause mechanic, like other sports. For example, you could have a pause once every 5 minutes, plus each player would get 2 pauses they could use at any point in the game. During a pause, players would be able to talk to their team to plan their next moves. I think this would be a fun format of competition in addition to the normal structure, because at the top level, these players are playing with such technical skill that their brains are often times mostly occupied with the huge amount of mechanical micro decisions they must make just to keep up with production and micro. I think having this structure would allow for more strategy to be introduced into the game.
A bit late of of a comment, but in my mind the Oracle is the spirit of a dead Protoss (the green thing in the center), that has been put in a ship to keep fighting for Aïur. Like Phoenix, the old Raynor's friend that has been put in a robot.
Raynor clearly HATES observers. Likes to play... in the Dark ;)

Last game I couldn’t understand why Dark didn’t just send it a fair number of times while ahead but have to remember you don’t have full clarity of understanding whats happening while playing

Oracles are AIs like probes and observers.
Just curious ( it's been a few years since I last played sc2 ) but why 7 rounds ??? Is it to allow players time to get into a grove or is there another reason??
just like how tennis plays multiple sets.... to really see who is the best of the day, it's helpful to play multiple games....
Because the map pool size is 7, so Bo7 means that all the maps can be played.

The oracle is a ship, and somehow there's a protoss pilot in there.
It looks like 60% of the oracle is just the cockpit (the green ball), which really makes one think about what it's canon size is.
The protoss pilot could be in an incorporeal form, like dragoons.
I really like what raynor is doing, trying to take down the best players via utilizing the things he have faced as playing zerg. he's intimate knowledge of zerg makes him a likely candidate for the chosen one. The greatest of all time will definetly be a player able to utilizing all races. In a match where the map and races are known he would be unbeatable. I say go Rainor, take the game to a new level please. beat serral with terran and toss, beat dark with the same. take buyn as zerg, win over astrea just with whatever, i mean he's NA after all.

It's gangsta plus it's super cheeky to switch it up the way Reynor has... because when he beats you and while he's playing protoss, you definitely get the feeling & vibe like he's not taking it seriously, which would piss off his opponent, which is prolly his entire aim in the first place lol

I don't like how you whisper and then talk loud, makes me constantly adjust my volume and can't hear some of what you say.
When something sneaky is going on he has to whisper so the players won't hear 🙉 I actually love it! Sparks joy.
