- Turns out Storm's Edge is more than a precision blink!
It's projectile-like. And those can sometimes go through portals. More importantly, they don't trigger loads. So we can now enter a load without hitting it. Very convenient if there's a teleporter within a loadzone...
Thanks to Adelaide for spotting this. It's got several applications on Nessus, and I'm sure other places as well. Keep an eye out for portals near loadzones...

Love to see it, first thing I thought about after obtaining this super was:" that super will only be useful in pvp and for oob action"
And now a few weeks later, here we go, it has started 😂😁
Within the first minute when I unlocked this super during the campaign I knew right away it was going to be used for getting out of bounds, although I didn't see THIS coming... 😂
I was looking forward to it since the first trailer of it. Glad I can scratch off the "Storms Edge breaks the box" square on my Final Shape bingo card ;)
Finally, a practical use for storms edge.
(Yes, I know it's technically the highest damage prismatic super, but aiming that dumb knife is hard especially with the vey low duration)

Wait doesnt this mean we could throw it through a door as doors that move allow projectiles through them?
Which doors do that? Usually doors that much just don't leave projectile marks. Ricochet rounds should show the difference there.
@@Froggy618157725 for example in onslaught at the boss room before u shoot the nodes u can shoot through the door with things like dragons breath to do dmg early

Getting into the rooms that close off when you approach them, I think it was during the Psion exotic mission whose name escapes me.
Hey I also noticed it can get through some solid barriers. My team was about to wipe at verity in the raid and I was one of the people teleported inside and just as a meme I popped my super before the wipe and threw it at the glass not expecting anything and I ended up back outside in the light room, albeit with a turn back timer. I’m thinking it can make it through kill barriers as well
Hm. So, my guess would be that you were in the other half of the inside room, past the wall of force for the teleporter, which is probably always a turnback. The copies of the room are otherwise pretty indistinguishable, unless you saw your teammates there. There are 4 complete copies of it.
Other possibility would be maybe the blink got past the wall to the teleportation field right behind it, and the game has something in place to make it a turnback for only you. I view that as less likely, but I'll need to test before I can really say anything for sure.
It 100% will work for skipping through kill barriers :)
I've used that feature of blink for several routes.
@@Froggy618157725 Yeah I'm sure it probably was just a copy of the room; I didn't have time to tell as I did it last second and I died as soon as I made it through. Didn't get a chance to test it again though as we cleared it on the next run through.
I've also used the regular blink to get through kill barriers, so as soon as I saw what the super can do when they revealed it, I immediately thought of using for that.
I'm sure you've thought of this as well at some point, but I've also used the fact that the super is a throw point you teleport to, to get into cracks in walls that projectiles make it through but is too small for the player to fit through.
Can storms edge also help you get past push barriers like blade barrage does?
Not like Blade Barage does, but it can. It's more like blink. It has zero barrier push, but can bypass any pushback that is smaller than 35 meters. Attempting to blink out of box, or into an invalid position will just fizzle, and you'll stay in place.

Doesn't seem to work for the Chamber of Sky portal, it just teleports me back to the Exodus Black landing spot.
I wonder if you could get past that one fallen barrier in the EDZ that you usually have to Blade Barrage past?
Also, I found a way to glitch through the map in Salvation's Edge, it requires the little deposit box and you sitting inside of its spawn. unfortunately the only place you can get it to spawn without starting a timer is the first encounter, but I did it in 3rd and managed to get out, despite the kill floor being about 1 guardian's height down
Nice. I think I did a similar thing with the bonus chest in Kingsfall, but it didn't lead anywhere exciting. I don't think Storms Edge will take you into a pushback. It would totally bypass it if it was thin, but I think that's box ceiling, which'll be like 100m, vs Storms Edge's 35ish m. Worth trying, but I don't expect it to work.

Hey Froggy, have you glitched your way below the map in the seasonal Nessus? There's a material (radiolite?) way below the map. I have a suspicion that it's either for something in the future, or it's just forgotten there, or the game puts everything there but then moves them away when we hammer the extractors. Anyway, if you wanna try your way glitching towards something interactable, look below the geysers in the seasonal Nessus map.

You can slam a hammer thing by it too, but not sure if it does anything. I used the classic hole by Well of Dust.
What about that portal on the moon from the landing zone to the pyramid overlook
Maybe from the pyramid side? I don't recall how close the load is, or if you can see the portal from the other load.
Have you had much luck getting OOB in the Pale heart Froggy? I've accidentally found myself in places I shouldn't be a few times, but there seem to be death barriers everywhere
I've gotten under the map in the Blooming and Impasse. The blooming hole I dropped down over by where the cyst entrance is and the impasse there is a big hole over by where the witnesses architecture is immediately to the left of spawn
Done some there. We've also got an autorez, but it's a bit inconvenient. Rythm also found a quantum spot.
The main thing I've done there is just getting to the place you escape from the Witness at the end of campaign. I'll definitely have plenty of videos on Pale Heart itself. I already have at least 4 planned.
Storms edge got me under the map by waterfall in the landing. Specifically was under the ground that was beneath the pool of water lol.
@@Froggy618157725 I think I was in the Refraction - I was looking for the memory of The Traveller in that location, and I think it mentioned something about a waterfall so I just dived at one on the side of the map. There was a little ledge I could stand on in the water, and then a hole in the map to the left you can just climb straight out of
I wrote a comment, but the CZcams mobile app seems to have eaten it...
Anyway, I found a hole in the map in The Refraction (I think) - on one of the waterfalls on the side of the area you can jump onto a small ledge in the water, and there's a hole up and to the left where you can just climb straight out

Portal in dark Forest is too far from the load, I think. Probably same with Salt Mines. Dunno if Europa has any...

I mean, you can probably throw it through more portals, but not all portals are right on loadzones.
For some reason grapple flying doesn’t work for me
I try to switch and it doesn’t reset the cooldown when I switch the gun
@@NolanBeyondx you can't remove the timer. You need to avoid it by being in air.
Yeah if you land it doesn't work
A: if you get far enough out of chamber of stone it allows you to summon.
B: chamber of stone doesn't have a box.
I recalled being out there before, so makes sense it doesn't have one. Pretty sure Water does at least XD

Currently working on a video going from start to end of raid with zero encounters. That means both bonus chests, and probably all the lore collectibles, without needing to do any encounter.
