That was so entertaining to watch. Simple, but refined magic. The real magic is the simplicity of the trick, verses using different techniques with two completely different decks of cards from a completely different country.
I followed how the K, Q and J got to the top - I do the maths based tricks with my classes a lot, because they’re good educational tools. What I did *not* get was how you knew the randomly peeked at card was the 5. So, not only great trick - well constructed, too. You let the nerds go “yeah, yeah, we can see how the cards are where they are” and ALSO had the “wtf???” moment at the end. Well done!

Penn couldn't even come up with code to make his educated guess and ya GOTTA love him for playing the game to win but preserving the integrity of your trick. Doing a card trick from thousands of miles away where you cant do any shenanigans with your hands or palming or dealing off the bottom or pinky cut shuffles is truly mindblowing. That you blew Tellers mind is a win... I hope you can now come to do another trick in America in front of Penn and Teller instead of virtually and actually fool them and earn that trophy!

Great trick! I know how it was done and i understand why the show had that ending where the judges had to determine the result. Penns explanation was so good on not giving any clues to the answer, which makes this illusion one of the better ones.

This is a marvelous example of time delay deception. Such a simple method, but with the help of that delay so wonderfully done. The card change at the end was outstanding.
