Just got one myself, added a transom to the front to use the trolling motor up front, also added lighting all around, will be added a switch to control all the lights, I will be hiding all the wires so nothing can get messed up, nice boat

Sweet mods, looking at getting this and upgrading from our kayaks. My Dad has a normal boat but I like the convenience of this for my gf and I. Just throw it on the truck and strap it down, super sweet! Everything I need for sure.

If you put lattice on your trailer your pond prowler will slide off your trailer really quick - I have a pond prowler & the lattice works great

Hello sir, I/we love the videos that you have provided!! I do have a question, I am thinking about opening up my PP 10 and add some closed cell marine pour foam, sealed in a barrier of some sort, or the 2” sealed foam sheets so that I may have a greater buoyant boat that can hold an extra 325-350lbs. Have you performed or do you know anyone who has done this to one of the newer model boats? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Great information. What type of fasteners did you use to attach your accessories to the boat? As you know we don't have the ability to put nuts on any of the screws so I'm curious as to what you use and if you're happy with the stability. Thanks so much!!
Thanks for watching👍I used the screws that came with the accessories, plus I used siliconed to stiffen them up a little, here in Southern NM I'm not so worried about stability with the small lakes I fish.....

When you drill things into the boat like the Scotty bracket, or a fish finder, do you have to take any extra precautions to keep it sealed from water
I apply silicone on the brackets and around them👍

Where do you take this setup? Was looking at something like this bc I don't have a truck and I can tow this with a car. I was wondering if it's too small for Cochiti, Heron, or even Navajo lakes.
I've taken it out to Bill Evans lake and Bear dam, and it does good. Not sure how big those lakes you mentioned are

Get this man an adderall and he is unstoppable lol. But seriously I have the same boat for my 6yo boy, 4yo daughter and I and we love it. Been wanting to add rod holders and some accessories but was petrified drilling into the hull. Your video really helped me see common sense things to mount as well as cool extras I didn’t know existed.
Question: with the somewhat flexible plastic on the hull, do you still think the long rod holders are good if you hook up a strong fish while in the rod holder? I’m concerned the force of a large catfish or rod getting hung up in a low tree while in The holder would rip the screws out.

Do you think that 55 lb motor is overkill for such a small boat? I just bought an 8’7” version of that boat and I’ve got a 30 lb thrust trolling motor and a 55lb thrust. I’m trying to decide which motor to use. The tag on boat says max thrust is 40 lbs and I’m wondering if the 55 will throw that little boat around like a rag doll. It might make a wake lol
It works great on the boat, I like it cause it's variable. I've maxed it out and it's won't make a wake haha

I can fish all day with a marine battery, plus I got a trolling motor that has variable speed so it saves on battery.

Not sure, it hasn't left me stranded on the lake yet. I've ran it for a good 6 hours and still have plenty of juice.

These are total CRAP. Ours ripped on side contour seam. Both sides ! Barely lasted 4 years .Was garaged and well taken care of too.
