Yeah I noticed a few errors like that. When showing the High self spear men the hand clips through the shield. My bet is that they were a little lax on that sort of stuff because for the most part players aren’t really gonna be that close to each unit.

@Hauke Holst No need to send them first, 2-3 idols might provide a Leadership stack and that might help with Immortal bannered Black Orks and the whole army in general. I see a second advantage there, since also battle Waagh increases with melee clash, they can be useful for battle waaghs as well.

When it comes to chariots the hidden stats are especially important. Hitbox, unit mass, max number of targets hit per attack. If those things have been dialed up the new HE chariot would be much better than the old chariots.

The war lions are a little surprising, I was expecting anti-large cause you know lions hunt large prey, not anti-infantry (so like skin wolves), but anti-infantry and armor makes it sound like they can hunt dwarfs and rear charge black orcs for extra damage with them, pretty interesting.

I could see Imrik working with the Talons of Tor Caleda and a fire wizard if the effects stack. That's 22% from Imrik, 22% from the Talons and 22% from Kindleflame and an additional 25% if the target has regeneration.
i love the synergy potential on the archers. lots of fire damage options to combo with now. also my god the new phoenix has the prettiest model iv ever seen.
For Warhammer fans such as myself, it is awesome to see Chrace finally getting their famed Lion Chariots and also iconic LLs such as Imrik and Eltharion, complete with their own specific mechanics that are extremely respectful of what they were in the original lore. Also, we finally get the Archmage, which is a staple of the tabletop version and whose absence was odd to say the least in the High Elf roster up to now.
At about 14:50 for a second I thought one of the models on the chariot had the head of a tiger and I was like "they have beastman riding along with elves on a chariot???"

The four new mages for the high elves mean they will have the biggest magic variety in the game, and since the high elves already have one of the best magic in the game, they will be the best magic faction. Not to mention, we now have rangers which can now allow rush builds for the high elves. And the silverine guard are just a straight upgrade.
SirKnight I don’t think rangers are going to open up rush builds as they currently are. Those stats are terrible and they’re overly expensive for what they offer. Looks like a forgettable unit that won’t get taken tbh

The last 2 minutes showcase the battle as epic, as DLC trailer itself. Nice video. The only ones misising are campaign RoR units, especially high elves, presumably riding griffins or great eagles (Knights of Tor Gaval). Are they available in custom battle under "capaign-only' tab, and are special elven knights ride griffins, eagles, or both?
With those High Elf additions, I think Empire needs more heavy infantry that can hold the line. There's Eldard's Spearmen but they've pretty pricey and Empire doesn't have a heavy halberdier unit.
This seems like it will be a really cool dlc. I tried the green skins a couple times before, but found the campaigns somewhat lackluster compared to most other races. It will be fun to try them again. Also, those new elves unit look rather sick. Think I'll give them a revisit as well
Hi Zerkovich (and viewers) I am currently playing greenskins in Mortal Empires as Grimgor. I have reached turn 60 and found out there were a bunch of DLC units I didn't have. So now I have bought DLC and tons of new units are now available. However this makes me wonder what is a good army composition for late game as the greenskins? Currrently my army is based on: 1 unit of black orcs with Immortulz banner. A bunch of heroes with Confident/disciplined trait to boost leadership - including a goblin and orc shaman. The rest are black orc big bosses and goblin big boss. I have 1 doomdiver and 2 rock lobber catapults. I have 4 night goblin archers (1 is regiment of reknown) And Big'uns for the remaining slots. So I am thinking that by end game, I should have more black orcs in my army and that I should hire a Rogue Idol. What else? Should I remove the night goblin archers? What about the rock lobbers? Thanks to anyone who takes their time to try and respond.
Keen to know what the start positions are. It's a must buy for me. One thing I'm kinda sad about is the ersatz dragon mage which I think Cataph did better. It's missing decent armour. There's also a mod that which includes the talons of Tor Caleda and they have a high rate of fire and armour piercing missile damage which makes them a lot more powerful. I really hope now that there's medium infantry (rangers and silverin guard) they can make white lions actually good elite infantry.
I find it strange that Rogue Idols aren't unbreakable... I'm trying to wrap my head around the concept of a giant chunk of magic rock thinking 'Aw zog, da boyz is runnin' away! I betta run too!'
well its pretty much a personification of the greenskins in a way to running away is pretty accurate since greenskins are pretty well known for retreating.. and then returning in greater number later
I wish this dlc also included a ROR version of dragon princes for imrik. I also hope he gets access to cheaper and lower upkeep dragons and dragon princes.

Anyone else notice that eltharion lists armor piercing? So maybe the breakdown of the weapon dmg is pretty close to armor piercing majority?
You should do a video about the campaign specific units for Eltharion. They won't be available in multi player
