Am really a huge fan of your videos. You are a great Permaculture teacher. I am also a teacher, but in a university of a different subject. I would love to come and visit your farm one day. Keep doing this great work!
You're very welcome! Do write to us at hello@aanandaa.com

Good morning mam awsm video 👍
Good morning!!
Very inspiring n heart warming.. Happened to watch a programme on the farm called beejom in noida. They were making n selling pots for seedlings made of cowdung. Thought I ll mention that, in case it is convenient for you to use them instead of plastic bags.

I found your video today and i git what to do for future

Speech less....

Using a lot of ideas from your very informative videos. Have started a papaya circle interspersed with pumpkin. We use it as our kitchen waste bin. Where do you get seeds for the native trees ?
Awesome
Wonderful series✨
Thank you so much, glad you enjoy it. Do share
I get strongly motivated watching these videos. I would like to grow vegetables and trees like this myself but in a smaller patch, say about 25 cents or quarter acre of land, do you think that is worthwhile or do you reccomend a larger parcel of land. Wishing you all the best for your farming experience.
Any size of land is good, the important thing is to get started!
Fantastic,ctg
thank you! Episode 5 will be out very shortly - stay tuned!
great video. what is the size of the papaya circle?
Really nice..
Thanks
can you please let us know what are those two small water ponds in your nursery, one above ground & one below. whats in them & purpose
It's not just "a video " It's my dream to develop one...
You can do it, all the best!
This is just so incredible! So glad that you guys are pioneering this movement in India. Have you considered venturing into natural fabric dyeing with some of the plant matter on the farm? :)
Hi, thanks for watching!! We have not even considered venturing in fabric dyeing as of now, seems like a very secondary step we will take once we are living on the farm full time. We aim to collaborate with our community
@@farmaanandaa ah right, lovely! I know that India has had a rich natural dyeing tradition so it would be interesting incorporating local knowledge and support on the subject. I wish you the very best! ☺️🙏💛✨
Hi..its been really helpful to watch all your videos..thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience with all of us.. :) I just observed the trees , they all are painted with lime right?? Is it to avoid termites attack?? Should we need to do that to all kinda trees??
yes, it is done to avoid termite attack. We have done it to all our trees
Thank you very much (from Assam) for your work which is helping our ecosystem. May I know what short of nitrogen fixing plants you have in your garden?
pulses and more!
Have u fenced all ur farm mam? If yes than how much does that cost?
How do you manage the chickens with cats around ?
Very well managed farm, would like visit it oneday, mam how many staffs do u have in ur farm to manage all the necessary duties there?
You can find answers to many questions like yours in this video -czcams.com/video/VSBAX7z2Snk/video.html
Pls plant more exotic plants like jaboticaba, cherry plants like Barbados. Etc.
We try and grow everything that grows in our climate, if we have the seeds to do so. Thanks for watching and do share our videos!
Dear ananda , my husband and I are impressed with your Ananda. We live in Brazil but we are from Jamshedpur ( Jharkhand) .I told my relatives to look for 10 acres of land near jsr.
They are saying that it looks good in video but living in the farm in old age is impossible and impractical.
Do you guys live( spend night) in ananda?
If no the why ...if yes then what problem do you face .
Thank you in advance.
Rajlaxmi and Pramod
Hi Rajlaxmi, we do not spend the night at the farm as we have not built a house on it yet. We live in the city which is 20minutes away. One day we aim to live on the farm. We dont think there will be any problems we face
Aanandaa The Permaculture Farm thank you for your quick reply.
raj.laxmi.shri@gmail.com this is my email.
We would love to connect with you in future.
@@ShriVidyaRahasya Sure you can email us on hello@aanandaa.com
Is lufa can use for baby body scrub
You guys are an inspiration.
Have a few questions.
How do you know so much about trees and farming in particular? Did you learn it on the go?
Yes, we did a lot of research beforehand, and are still learning new things everyday!
did both of you leave your jobs together or in a phased manner? also how did you guys sustain the first few years?
@@ankitsirohi4821 neither of us left our jobs till very recently. So basically, we ran the farm through remote supervision
so was it like you guys shifted to chandigarh from mumbai with your jobs intact and had someone to work on and manage the land?
@@ankitsirohi4821 no it was more like we continued to live in Mumbai with our jobs and remotely supervised the farm team.
I noticed the trees are painted at the trunk, is there a reason for this? I have noticed trees are painted in
India, and was curious why this is done. Thanks for your videos.
Please post on rice, wheat & millets cultivation
Will try👍
How monkeys are handled in permaculture? Could you please answer madam.
Inspires me to get it done but I live in the city so pls advise the possibilities
There is a lot of information on the net about balcony gardening and other smaller scale things, we wouldn't be able to guide you too much since all our experience is on a farm land. But a few google searches should help you immensely - all the best!!
Please make separate video on bee.and how bee gets flower whole year to survive and please share bee colony details at your farm?
Will do soon. We only started beekeeping in March 2020 - once we get enough learning, we will make a video.
Wonderful! Did you take professional help to design the farm?
Is it possible to get a small area designed?
We did not take any professional help, we researched and did our own work! There are permaculture consultants who you can reach out to, we do not work in that sphere.
Hats off to you! Can u give tips for small city gardens?
1. Mam how do u got time to work on ur farm if u r living in Mumbai 2. How u manage to deal with snakes and other harmful insects
We no longer live in Mumbai. When we did, we would visit once in 2 months and get key projects done
Real life...
:)
What is the difference between permaculture and integrated farming
you should be able to google this for specifics, but it will have some similarities. Good question.
Very very good morning
Very very good morning to you too Bhanudas!!
Good morning
Kitna acre me apka farm hai

Do you have cows also for organic they say you need cow and their byproduct, don’t you take eggs
Yes we do have cows, we are heavily dependant on their manure and urine for our fertilisation and pest management. Yes, we do take eggs from our free-range hens.
