    Lovely. And very good that you are growing indigenous trees. Some of them will grow pretty slow, but are sturdy and will live long. Please grow some kadi patta and ash gourd also.

    Very inspiring n heart warming.. Happened to watch a programme on the farm called beejom in noida. They were making n selling pots for seedlings made of cowdung. Thought I ll mention that, in case it is convenient for you to use them instead of plastic bags.

    I get strongly motivated watching these videos. I would like to grow vegetables and trees like this myself but in a smaller patch, say about 25 cents or quarter acre of land, do you think that is worthwhile or do you reccomend a larger parcel of land. Wishing you all the best for your farming experience.

    This is just so incredible! So glad that you guys are pioneering this movement in India. Have you considered venturing into natural fabric dyeing with some of the plant matter on the farm? :)

      Hi, thanks for watching!! We have not even considered venturing in fabric dyeing as of now, seems like a very secondary step we will take once we are living on the farm full time. We aim to collaborate with our community

    Dear ananda , my husband and I are impressed with your Ananda. We live in Brazil but we are from Jamshedpur ( Jharkhand) .I told my relatives to look for 10 acres of land near jsr.
    They are saying that it looks good in video but living in the farm in old age is impossible and impractical.
    Do you guys live( spend night) in ananda?
    If no the why ...if yes then what problem do you face .

      Hi Rajlaxmi, we do not spend the night at the farm as we have not built a house on it yet. We live in the city which is 20minutes away. One day we aim to live on the farm. We dont think there will be any problems we face

      There is a lot of information on the net about balcony gardening and other smaller scale things, we wouldn't be able to guide you too much since all our experience is on a farm land. But a few google searches should help you immensely - all the best!!

      We did not take any professional help, we researched and did our own work! There are permaculture consultants who you can reach out to, we do not work in that sphere.

      Yes we do have cows, we are heavily dependant on their manure and urine for our fertilisation and pest management. Yes, we do take eggs from our free-range hens.
