- Now that I've got this out of my system, I can finally move on to solos haha. I am just loving these songs too much. 'I'll be back' is now my favourite if anyone's keeping score! Although wait, A.D.T.O.Y đ± it's too hard to pick!
I love that with 2PM they can 'dress up' their performances (costume, lighting, props, staging etc.) but can dress them down (just them, jeans, t-shirts, a mic and spotlights) and as a viewer I enjoy it just as much. The songs themselves are such statements that they could present them in any way and I know I'll love them - (they could just lay flat on the floor and sing them and I'd be like wow, wow, Jun.K WOW haha).

I really wasn't going to say this - but here we are. My favourite part of a 2PM concert is the very last moment of the last encore, when Chansung takes off his shirt, ties it in a knot and throws it into the audience, then smiles as though he knows how hot he is but also doesn't care, and slowly strolls off stage while smiling and waving at the audience. It is surreal.

The more I listen to them the more I'm loving them They really have a variety of songs and great ones too with strong hooks! Jun K has a unique tone to his voice, i bet he can sing jazz and scat! On the other hand I love Junho and I can't even give a reason, i think it's his passion and facial nuances i find attractive ,when he sings and dances..an ultimate actor! I never heard of 2 Pm till about a year ago because I watched a drama series on netflix "Wok with Love" and I wondered who the main character was so i looked him up on google and Saw Lee Junho of 2PM The Best. Got curious and checked and the rest is history. To think I am 72 years old but i love music always in any genre done to perfection. Go Hurreira, you make us happy. 2:41 Jun.K fell off from a 3 meters moving stages/trunk during 2PMâs 6Nights concert on Febâ17. Due to that incident they canceled the remaining concert and relaunched the concert on Juneâ17.
I was watching an online feed of the concert, and when it suddenly ended, I was shocked. Then searched online and found the fan vid of him falling. My heart stopped!

Please check out Donât stop canât stop. Itâs very cool song and you can hear Nichkhunâs Rap part in concert only. So, not many people react to that song. The whole lyric is so meaningful for them especially Nichkhun part, so cool!!

Finally, you're back with 2pm reaction again đ. Been patiently waiting for this coz I love your in depth reactions of them(personalities) and their songs.
2pm have so many iconic performances of heartbeat, some wayyyyy... showy than the others (more esp when they perform it at Korean music shows) most of it in suits, some without suitsđđ eherm...but I also love it when they perform it simply in concerts bec they nails it every time. Last year lots of kpop groups covers the song and they all came out amazing but I still personally think no group can cover it as magnificent as 2pm. They make it so theatrical. Actually, the intro for their I'll be back performance is a separate 2pm song "still" and I love love love that song so much that until now I can't believe how short the song isđ but it amazes me how they can geniusly put them together and ended up blending so well that I'm having eargasm every time lol đđđ they can make/fix their songs almost to anyway they like, make it to a remix, or a ballad but the ending is same... It still sounds interesting and very pleasing. I can't wait for you to dive into their solo performances and to more of their live performances /stages... Pretty please đđâ€ïž

Yes, I personally prefer to see these men perform live as well. There's just something that they bring onto the table that can't be replicated when it's live, and it makes the experience all the more impressive. I am really, really excited now for you to watch some of their other live performances which didn't get an MV to pair with! You won't be disappointed, Korean or Japanese!
And I do agree with you--Jun K is incredible, yet knows where the boundaries are. It really displays to me how much these guys respect each other as well. That respect shines through the more you watch them together.
Do check out their solos, and Hurraira, I really won't mind if you mix the orders up and mash it with other random compilations that showcase their personalities!

12:35 Regarding head mics / hand mics, I remember reading/watching somewhere that Taec prefers a hand mic, while Junho (guy in red jacket) prefers a head mic mostly because of his previous shoulder injury.
And Wooyoung prefers the head mic because heâs a dancer and expresses the music even through his hands and fingers. Itâs freeing. But he does use a hand mic sometimes.
Iâm glad you noticed Chansungâs voice - he has my favorite vocal color. His vocals are so warm. I think he has grown the most, vocally, because heâs talked about how he was rather gone deaf when he was starting out, and he was very unstable in the early years. Heâs more confident now.
The group has three baritones - Taec, Junho, and Chansung. Junho mostly sings in the tenor range, though, so people donât realize heâs naturally a baritone; he has the most stable range, too. Youâll hear more of his falsetto in his solo work.
You know and observe so much. Love your reactions. They are so passionate in this concert. I think maybe because they knew it was last series of concerts as a group before military duty. Wooyoung singing Without You...gets me every time.
When I started following 2pm I also got into their variety shows and that's where I got to know all their personalities. Even though they are very young on those shows...they are so much fun to watch because they are crazy...and they are the same today when they get together. I really don't know which 2pm song I like the most. There's always something in each song that I like. Maybe ADTOY with that hard, fast rap...those falsettos and that hot choreograph...and Promise with the chorus are up there for me. Jun K's voice just commands complete undivided attention
Nickhun,Chansung and Wooyoung each have their own unique qualities which are hard to ignore. All of them are achievers, their dynamics as a group is perfect
about Rap, that's exactly me. from the beginning, I just watched the rap parts without enjoying it because the reason why I came to 2PM is only Taec. so I had to watch it. slowly I start to love rap parts but still, I can only listen to 2PM songs' rap parts and members rapping.

Jun. K fell off the stage at one of the earlier 6 Nights concerts and broke his elbow and a finger. He still wanted to preform because it was their last hurrah before their Military hiatus.

Yes 2PM is proper 2nd Gen unlike Super Junior and TVXQ (basically 1.5) and no, the younger generation doesn't like 2PM as much as they deserve. First of all 2PM lost a lot of their fans when JYP made them focus on Japan. After their Japan debut which was probably the biggest debut for Kpop idol group till then, JYP made them tour Japan extensively which isn't a bad thing. 2PM brought money, sold arenas in Japan and also started making original Japanese songs which is different from what other groups do (simply translate Korean songs to Japanese). However people in Korea thought 2pm disbanded since they weren't active in Korea and this was back in 2012-13. Then came 3rd generation boy groups and they filled in the gap and now it's time for 4th gen boy groups. My house became a big hit in 2018-19, almost 4 years after its initial release. 2PM has become a niche now, loved and adored by a limited number of loyal fans.
There was a mainstream rock band called Buzz (still active but not mainstream anymore) which debuted in 2003 along with the 1.5 generation idol groups and gave every boy group a run for their money. The vocalist of Buzz was termed the visual of Korea and the group even sang the 2006 world cup anthem for Korea. Their songs are still top 10 in karaokes in Korea and idols from BTS, EXO, BTOB and countless other groups consider Buzz one of their main influences. Hardly anyone knows Buzz nowadays and Buzz was considered too big to fail so 2PM is no exception.
I would say that there are a lot of new, young fans as well as fans coming from newer generations in the last couple years during and after their hiatus. Itâs really remarkable on Twitter. The fandom in general has always been much older than average, age wise, but the demographics have shifted younger with these new fans.
I wouldn't say they "niche" since their last album sold very well in fact its their best selling album despite 5 years of hiatus.
