My husband and I have visited several cities for short periods: Puerto Vallarta, Ajijic, Monterey, Mexico CIty, Queretero, and San Miguel de Allende. Love watching your videos.
Thank you so much; glad you like them! 😊
We hope that you gain many more subscribers. You are an excellent videographer, and a really good tour guide. We enjoy your humor. You have helped us to decide where we want to go in Mexico. Keep up the good work.
Wow, thank you so much! I really appreciate it! 😊
Queretaro is hands down one of my favorite cities to visit. I vacationed there last August and fell in love with the place and people. It's VERY safe especially the downtown area. Everything is pretty much within walking distance and Uber is super cheap (like $7 bucks for a ride). The most I paid for an Uber was $20 bucks. There's also a lot wealth there and their Antea mall is gorgeous, very modern. There's a lot of foreigners that live there so you can find food from Korea, other parts of Mexico, Italian, Indian even Arab food believe it or not. There's a lot of people from different places of the world that have made Queretaro their home. Did I mention they also have an awesome Wine & Tour there? Yep, Queretaro is one of the wine places in Mexico so if you love wine and cheese, go there! 100% recommend this State.
Yes, I loved it. I wish I had more time to explore outside of centro. Next time! Thanks for watching!
I have booked a place there for two weeks in the summer so that I can find a place to live there permanently. Thank you so much for all of this information. Thank you to this community. And I am open to any and all experiences and advice from people that know QRO
Did you find anything? Could you share? Appreciate it. I'm flying down to find my place. Back to CT to sell everything and I'm there!
I am staying at a place for two weeks in August through early September to find a permanent place. Like you, I’m selling everything and moving. Ivonne with Mexico Relocation is helping me.
@@dlwsport250Husband and I will also be there in August and I are working with Ivonne! Using QRO as home base to check out various cities in the region for relocation. Just found @Gringointerrupted. Love your videos Alfie!
Another thoroughly entertaining video! Your subtle NJ/NY humor combined with your excellent cinematography skills and natural presentation ability. This place is on my list. Thank you!
Wow, thanks so much Rob! I really appreciate that!
Beautiful. Love it.
It is indeed! Thanks for watching!
Loved it. Thank you for pronouncing the names very well.
Thank you! 😊
Fabulous as always - bangin’ music - favorite for me was at the calendar museum! And what a great place to visit. Get well my friend!
Thank you Sir! Such a unique and cool museum! Currently in Oaxaca and I’m in love!!! But this sun! Its soooo strong!
@@GringoInterrupted We just missed you in Oaxaca! Can’t wait to see your vid from there and compare notes! Be well!
Thank you for your informative and entertaining videos of Mexico. I will have to put Queretaro on my bucket list. Next time you're at "the Denny's of Mexico" AKA VIPS, try out the Sopa Azteca, a delicious variant of Tortilla Soup. Enjoyable and safe travels amigo!
Haha, will do! Thanks for watching and commenting! 😊
Hola, Alfie! Thank you for your very informative, sincere, and humorous tours of all the fabulous places I now want to live in Mexico! I feel like a silent Elf on the GoPro - (so excited to finally get off the dang shelf!) Thank you, thank you for allowing me to tag along. You've been my favorite even before you fed the sweet skinny blanco pero. You're a softie, Alfie but don't worry... your secret is safe with me 😉. Gracias de nuevo for all you do to bring the beauty of Mexico to us. 🫶
@nannymarta4268 What a nice comment; thanks you so much! Shhhh…don’t tell anyone my secret! 😉 I hope you get there soon and bring treats for all the doggos! 🐶
That intro 🔥 Make that beat drop!
I’m Junior!
Another great video. Not only informative but entertaining also. I can’t wait for more.
Thank you!!! I’m traveling again soon, so more videos in the spring! I might do a “packing” video before then and some short videos until then! Thanks for watching!
Excellent video!! I really hope to make it to Querètaro at some point. There is just so much beauty and culture in Mexico. I couldnt be happier about living here. I have such graitude for the kindness and hospitality I am regularly shown.
Thank you! And, I agree, its a special place
For me is the best city from whole country I love Querétaro and you missed La alameda which is another place with history, hope to see you back soon 👍😉
Thank you! There were many other things I wanted to do in QTO, but the Covid fatigue stopped me. Next time!!! Thanks!
Hola amigo.
Hola Jorge! Me alegro mucho que haya disfrutado mis videos! Y muchas gracias por la oferta. Quizás si yo paso por Merida le encuentro para este guía histórico! Que dios le bendiga también! Muchas gracias 😊
"Where are the naked men?" 🤣 Thanks for the piquant and waggish observations of my adopted city.
Whew, just looked up those words. Thank you! I’m glad you liked it ☺️
this is the other city i am going to visit in September--I really enjoyed this video!!
Thank you!!! 😊
The calendar commentary is perfect 😂 Oh, and I completely agree…where are the naked men, like my calendars at home? But, hey…the ketchup trick might come in handy sometime, especially with a twink and a Zaddy. This video also reminded me of the Chiles en Nogada I had at the restaurant at the Museo Nacional de Antropología.(which was also a little fancy pants).
Haha, thanks! That museum lacked a male thirst trap calendar! Maybe I’ll write them an email and suggest it!
@@GringoInterrupted Thank you for your public service! ;)
😂
Good to see your back. My sister lives there and I have never been there... I wanna go to La Mariposa now. 🤭
Te llevo a Mariposa Ponchito!
This is great!! Very entertaining and educational!
Thanks!
Good job! We enjoyed the many beautiful churches there. The best empanadas in all of Mexico were our favorite food there. Plenty of fantastic bakeries too. I hope you feel better soon . Thanks for sharing. P.S. There is a Korean restaurant downtown... NOT RECOMMENDED.
Haha, message received! Thanks Ronnie!
Love your content! We just left Queretaro for CDMX. We already viewed your CDMX videos.
Awesome! You will love Mexico City! Enormous; so much to do and learn there! I’m glad my videos were useful to you! Have a wonderful time!
@@GringoInterrupted we really love your style. Your videos are educational and we get your humor. Keep up the great work. It is appreciated!
Wow, thank you so much!!! It means a lot!
Have enjoyed your videos as I did my research for my recent trip to MX. Were you a Spanish teacher? And how long is your visit through MX? Hope all is well and you’ve made a full recovery ❤️🩹 from covid.
Thank you so much! Yes, I taught Spanish and ESL. I just returned from a 4 week trip and getting ready to start editing more videos. I am fully recovered, thank you! 😊
Back in Sep last year I went to Tikua restaurant, authentic Oaxaca menu and awesome ambience. Staff is bi-lingual in case you don’t speak Spanish.
Nice, thanks for the info! Currently in Oaxaca, overdosing on Mole.
3:10, when I was a little kid back in the early 70´´s I used to see that depiction of purgatory and get really scared. My mom used to tell me that´s where all the bad people went.
Yikes, that’s scary. My grandmother had a life size statue of Jesus at the top of her steps with the open heart, pointing his finger. It terrified me.
I found it hilarious that you said there aren’t many foreigners in QRO. You missed 90% of Queretaro by just staying in Centro. Considering QRO is a huge hub for international manufacturing, there are probably more foreigners in Queretaro than anywhere outside Mexico City.
When did I say that there weren’t many foreigners? Did you mean when I said there weren’t many tourists? There were hardly any tourists when I was there.
I go to QRO for work and yes, there are big industrial parks outside of el centro, but I don’t ever really see many ‘gringo’ foreigners. I’m not arguing any point here, simply sharing my observations.
Why would anyone want to visit a manufacturing plant in Queretaro?
Visit TEQUISQUIAPAN one day, and LA PENA DE BERNAL another day, while visiting Queretaro.
Next time! Thanks! 😊
How you doing? We have spent the last 5 weeks in the Yucatán. Getting hot here now. 99 in Mérida today ... geez.
Ouch! Merida is too hot for me! I just returned from 4 weeks traveling Oaxaca and Chiapas. Getting ready to start editing soon!
@@GringoInterrupted I trust you enjoyed the Oaxacan cacoa.
@ronnielynnholley Yes, it was amazing! I ate Mole almost every night!
Hey Gringo! 😂. Can you share rents, particularly one bedroom apartments for an ExPat who doesn't know where to find the nicest for the best price? I need to visit to find my place and my tribe. Need a clean, safe $400 apt. Any ideas for me? Mucho gracious.
Unfortunately, I know very little about renting. I’m just a traveler; I haven’t put down roots in Mexico. But I know most ex-pats live in Centro and the suburb of Juriquilla
If you get caught between the moon and New York ciiiiity…
Is this the season for that pepper dish? I'm going in two weeks
I believe that particular restaurant serves it all year long. Typically though, it’s Christmas time.
Hey, if the place is closed don't be a reina complaina! LOL! J/k. 😂
@@GringoInterruptedActually the season for chiles en nogada is August and September. It's a dish that celebrates Mexican independence, thus the red white and green of the primary ingredients. 😉
Ah ok, thank you
Me? Complain? Idk what you mean 😉
Gringo, Interrupted.
Hi, how are you. Sincerely, you are handsome man.
I hope to meet you some day. Please enjoy your Trip in Mexico.
Thank you!! ☺️
Be aware of mushes!
Try to rent an Airbnb for less money, You can rent daily, weekly or monthly. Your hotel is too expensive.
GET OUT. MOVE TO MEXICO.
SENDING WARMTH FROM QUERETARO.
Happy I moved to Queretaro in 2021 at 79 for 70% less expensive and safer. PRAYERS sent to my 1942 birth city CHICAGO from Queretaro since 2021. I know that cold weather big time. Thank God for the safety
and warmth of this city. RIP. DO NOT ALLOW THE INVADERS TO DESTROY YOU.
To visit is ok, to live in Queretaro is boring as hell
Haha, thanks for the info! 😂
IN case you do not know in mexico is customary for museums to be closed on maydays and frecuently on tuesdays
Thanks, I know. But the Cathedral? I was so disappointed I didn’t get inside
Just turn and back home outsider L.M.A.O.
😂
Who the f you think you are... Gfy rodri💩
