I've been living in Morelia, as a US citizen, for three years. My wife is a Mexican citizen. It's been a wonderful experience! Best move EVER!!
I’m jealous!!!
I'm very excited to come to Morelia soon to see rentals. I think I need outter edge of Morelia where it's a bit quieter. Russell, do you know a realtor who might help me? I need to study my Spanish. LOL Only words I know are not nice. Learned as a kid in NYC. Mucha's gracias. Justine in Connecticut.
@@justinesimone5343 I am a Morelia native and i highly reccommend avoiding the outskirts, they might be kinda dangerous, of course there are nice neighborhoods too, it all depends on your budget, and the kind of lifestyle you are looking for.
Felicidades 😘
Muchas gracias!
What a pretty place!
It is and so unique! Thanks for watching amigo!
Nice video friend. You are welcome !! Greetings frim Beautiful Morelia ✌️
Thank you! 😊
I’m from Morelia and wanted to thank you for coming to the city 😊 also gotta say that the last restaurant you went has a more commercialized food rather than traditional food. The street food is mostly on other part of the city and you can find it downtown only on special occasions
Thank you for the info! I would love to return to Morelia and explore more outside of the center. Such a beautiful city! Thanks for commenting!
Amazing. I've lived in Morelia for 13 years and I always find new things to see and do.
Awesome; I loved Morelia! Such a unique city; I hope to go back and explore it more! Thanks for watching!
Hermosa Morelia! Gracias por tu bonito video. Bendiciones.
Gracias!! ☺️
In 'Santuario de Guadalupe' was my mass for ended my university, and I have something to say about 2 paintings you showed on your video, I can not remember the number of paintings into the church, but I guess probably be the third and fourth one, those were painted by Pedro Cruz, a painter who was born in Santa Ana Maya, Michoacan, after growing he moved to Acambaro, Guanajuato.
He did many great paintings over Mexico and Texas.
Interesting, thanks! 😊
You are on fire my friend! Fabulous video and we love your music choices. This city is on our list, ¡Mil Gracias!
Thank you sir!!! I’m so happy you liked the music; I spend a lot of time picking it out! Thanks for watching and I hope you can get to Morelia soon!
Awwwww my city I'll be visiting soon, sorry you had Covid while you were there.
I couldn’t have asked for a better city to be sick in! I love Morelia!
Thank you for you videos.
Thanks for watching! 😊
I came across your vlog last night. I love the fact you took a leap, and loving life!! Amazing!!!
Hey man! Thanks a lot! Appreciate it!
Great job buddy! I like your style and how you aren't afraid to show yourself but are able to present an informative video. I'm a suscriber! I travel to Mexico often now I plan to go to Morelia! You would be a fun travel partner!
Thank you so much; I’m glad you enjoy then! I can be fun (at times)! 😂 Morelia is definitely worth a visit!
Great video - thanks for posting and happy to see your travels once again.
Thanks James; I appreciate it!
Morelia is also known to have some of the best biking events going downhill
Nice! Didn’t know that! Thanks!
@@GringoInterrupted yes sir check them out if you ever have a chance brother god bless

I’ll take ‘em, thank you! 😊
Sorry that you got sick. Glad you are well now
Thanks you; I appreciate it!
Qué bonito. So close to where I live and I’ve never visited. And someone didn’t invite me over…. Well I miss you by the way 😅
You should visit Ponchito! Miss you too, thanks for watching!
Great video. Thanks. Waiting for more!
Thanks again! More to come….
SO good! Thanks for documenting your superspreader travels 🙃
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Good job. We enjoyed the east side of downtown a lot. Take care amigo.
Gracias amigo!
Great video..!!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Hey , new in your channel, thank you, beautiful city.
Thanks ☺️
We will be in the Yucatan in a couple of weeks. Would love to meet and greet!
That would be awesome! I’ll be in Oaxaca in February but not headed to the Yucatán area until March. In between San Cris, Palenque, Flores (Guatemala). It would be great to meet up!
You are so funny I would probably have hit my head too.
Thank you!!!! I’m flattered! Yeah, kind of clumsy here!
Morelia used to have a lot of Europeans visiting because they had their children attending schools and universities back in the 50-1980’s.
Hmm, interesting! Thanks!
A 50 dollar peso bill! Wow, I've never seen one of those! 😅
Hahahaha! Oops!
Gringo. You do a beautiful job describing the places you visit, and not to mention the amazing photography. Only if you were a bit more consistent uploading videos (just an observation)
Thanks for the compliments David! I appreciate it! I know I haven’t been consistent; I got a little discouraged after my last few videos. But I have a bunch coming! Thanks for watching!
I found your channel recently and you do a very nice video. Morelia is beautiful and have friends that live there. Only minus, your occasional 'colorful' words downgrade the quality of your videos. Mexico is not like the states. Foul language is frowned upon except mostly by those that are involved in organized crime. Overall I do enjoy your videos and thanks for the experiences.
Thank you; I appreciate it! Funny you should mention my language; my mom just said the same thing to me! Its a bad habit; I will try to curb that in the future! Thanks for watching!
Curious, I know that there has been a tremendous amount of deforestation in Morelia, in order to grow "green gold" aka avocadoes. This is causing much consternation and frustration by locals, Did you encounter any of that? I believe that Criminal ELements are responsible for this deforestation and that it is a bit dangerous for locals to be loud about their discontent.
Interesting! No, I didn’t pick up on any of that. I didn’t even know about it actually. Although, I try not to mention anything about politics/narcos to any Mexican as I don’t want to insult/offend anyone.
@@GringoInterrupted That is very understandable.
That happens, but not exactly in Morelia, the avocado growing area is in a different part of the Michoacán state.
Está bien bonito apoco no?
Si, muy bonito!
You remind me of Adam Sandler
I’ll take that!
Next time fly
😂
En Morelia Michoacán todos son blancos ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
No encontré eso. Vi muchas personas morenas. Pero, a quien le importa? Por que se celebra esta cosa?
Nope! They are not. Odd comment?
In Morelia everyone is white, it is a Spanish city in Mexico ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
I did not find this at all. I saw many “non-white” people. But, who cares? What are you celebrating?
Almost all mixed Mexicans have African ancestry. They were left out of the national identity creation after the Mexican Revolution either on purpose or lack of knowledge.
Interesting, thanks!
I wish you would stop with the F bombs....
What can I say? That’s me
You are such a SWEET GUY ..Embrazo AMIGO!!
Gracias ☺️
Morelia is a treasure ! overlooked by most GRINGOS ( fine by me) good job ,good choice to visit
I loved Morelia!!! Thanks so much for watching!
