- Check out this review of the EPAX E10 resin printer - this is a printer than EPAX sent me to review. This printer had a bit of a rocky start, but with its 5k upgrade out soon, we see if this is a printer worthy of jumping on.

Let me know what you think of the video. Let me know what videos you'd like to see. The next video will be a technique video up later this week! - Hry
Good review! And I agree 110% on the Epax quality!
Watching your videos inspired me to try an Epax.... I think I'm fast becoming a fanboy also!
That forest dragon looks slick
Thanks for the video, I have the E6 which I've loved. Fingers crossed to win that resin!
Just received my E10 yesterday. Haven't had a chance to test it yet, but it's nice to see I made a good decision to buy it.
Absolutely. Great choice!
I love using my Epax E10, best resin printer (out of 4) that I own.
Very good review! Definity thinking about an epax now
Like the video I have had an X1 for over a year and love it.
Great review! Love my E10!
Awesome review. Please give us some more tutorials of your sweet painting skills! It's been to few and too far between.
Painting tutorials are coming! More this week!
Nice review, thanks.
Thanks for the info!
I really wish Epax would ship overseas to places like Singapore. Looks like the E10 is a great machine though, excellent for most of the uses someone doing tabletop stuff would have.
Just got my E10 yesterday. Can't wait to try it out this weekend.
You made me buy the forest dragon 😂
FYI: The 5K upgrade is also upgrading from an 8.9" screen to a 10.1" screen. So it won't be a huge leap in terms of detail (probably around 44μm compared to the current 50μm) but it will be a nice increase in print volume.
Yup! On a plate that is already pretty large, it'll be awesome for it to be even bigger with around a 10% quality gain.
nice review
It’s a great printer I agree. Very honest review. Really liked it. Looking forward to the 5K upgrade.
Thanks for the review, I was expecting this review for a while now! And thanks for the giveaway chance! 😊 🤗🙏🏻
Thanks for the review! I've been keeping my eyes peeled on a solid printer post grad school, and this looks great.
Really can't go wrong with an EPAX for reliability!
Ordered mine today ☺
Awesome !
Great review! Got mine! Printing great at .05mm, but i'd LOVE to see a pic of your settings for epax hard grey at .02mm. Please share!
I'll put out the relevant bits in a bit
Just got mine too!
Nice review! Been looking for a printer with a nice-size build plate.
Dragon turned out great and the review was good! How many leaves did you end up losing? Its customary to see about 5-6 go bye bye. I lost around that much on my test print, when I first sculpted it.
I love like one or two small branches on the front of the dragon, but no individual leaves. There was a good amount of wistek toughness added in this mix that helped.
I was really waiting for the E10-5k but the delays got me. I got in on the super early bird on the Mega 8k from Phrozen
Ya, I'm just really hesitant about that. The fact that they take those orders before any testers get them is bad. Plus, honestly, it's too big for me.
1.8 is crazy fast. I'm at 2.9 with the siraya tech fast gray on my e10. Epax hard resin is on the way!
It seemed fast to me. I suspect they may have increased the light strength on some newer ones
I was just thinking how I wanted a printer with a larger platform
The e10 is a fantastic choice for a larger plate!
I'd be interested to know if the extra 1k resolution gives that noticeable of a difference when you're already at 4k.
edit: when the 5k display matrix comes out I mean
Will be interesting to see for sure!
The 5K upgrade is also upgrading from an 8.9" screen to a 10.1" screen. So it won't be a huge leap in terms of detail (probably around 44μm compared to the current 50μm) but it will be a nice increase in print volume.
Great review, do you think the quality of my miniatures would be increased greatly if I switched to a 25um layer height? I really want to get the best quality possible.
from 0.05mm to 0.025mm Yes. I can see a big difference here
Could you do a compare between different resins? I do not own a resin printer yet but I'm definitely trying to learn before I buy.
Definitely will be doing that!
hi
Awesome review! Definitely on top of my consideration list for upgrading my printer set.
