Actually, no, he struck out at the boot wash station, but you never know until you try. He has gone on to find several other diamonds since this video was recorded. There are 100 points of weight per carat. So, a 10-point diamond weighs 1/10th of a carat. A 50-point diamond is a half-carat, etc.

Their volcanic soil has been searched and re-searched for over 100 years. Our volcanic rock never has been searched. We just uncovered it with a bull dozer and dug it up with an excavator.
