My mind is blown away by the Quran... the way it is structured, the information it contains. it stands the test of time. it is impossible to imitate it. its easy to remember. its so clear and so logical. not 1 verse out of more then 6000 verses contradicts each other. its a book of instructions and guidance. its a book that bears witness to itself. its a book of solutions to many problems. its a guardian over the previous scriptures, its give hope. it warns us. it gives us glad tidings. its the most beautiful words to hear.its the literal speech of THE MOST HIGH... all of this in one book revealed in a language that 80% of muslims cant speak.... i find that to be the most amazing thing that ever happened to human beings. this is what made me accept the MESSAGE...i am truly grateful that God sent us a perfect man(prophet muhammad) and a perfect message!!!! I bear witness that there is NO other diety Worthy of worship besides Allah. and i bear witness that muhammad Is his last and final messenger!

Even judges in courts when they read statutes they use different types of interpretation methods like the golden approach, literal approach, purposive approach, mischief approach etc to interpret the same legislation for different circumstances.
they do this as they want the law to be flexible, and adapt to changes in the society. In short they want the law to be timeless too. And especially they don't want to freeze an interpretation by giving one direct meaning. this freezing will stop the law from developing.
Non of the interpretations derived are are considered to be wrong and only in VERY VERY rare occasions you get to see a per incurium judgement, which means not that the judgement is not wrong per se, but the judgement was given due to "ignorance" or "forgetfulness".
And as hijab said the Qur'an is timeless, and I think it's the only book in history which had been timeless, and Will continue to be timeless.

The fact you said you had no idea and automatically concluded it was false is pretty sad, and academically immature. You have the mindset that if you have no understanding of something then it must be wrong which is pretty lame considering a billion people on this earth know.
      But here’s your proof:
to actually prove Islam is the one true religion, there are many major proofs to discuss. There are probably a lot more, but here is what I have RESEARCHED (hint do the research!) so far. The first proof that Islam is legit is through the observations of the minor signs that have been foretold such as Men and woman being confused with the opposite gender and dressing and acting like the other, women being dressed but appearing naked, musical instruments on people’s heads (such as earbuds and headsets), increased rated of children being born out of wedlock, or the foretelling of the fall and corruption of the Muslim empire OR the fact the Quran was never changed. The Roman Empire would defeat the Persian Empire at a time when the Roman Empire was on the brink of collapse, and that this would happen in 3-9 years. This materialized as stated in the Quran; see Quran 30:1-6. 2 - Warring Muslims will overtake the Arabian Peninsula. See Quran 24:55. 3 - Islam will spread eastward and westward to Egypt, Yemen, the Roman Empire, and the Persian Empire. See the Hadith of Thawbaan in Sahih Muslim. 4 - There will be an increase in sexual immorality and, as a result, sexually transmitted diseases. 5 - Barefoot Arabs will compete to build tall buildings. This is one of the most powerful proofs and a common opposition that kafirs use here is the notion of self-fulfilling prophecies. In other words, since the hadith said that Arabs will compete to build large buildings, and they end up doing just that to make sure the prophecy is fulfilled, this must be a fake proof.) When you think about it logically however, the Arabs and Bedouins lived in the desert and the terms “naked and barefoot” allude to them being poor. They also had no understanding of construction with wood, oil, gasoline, and other crucial resourced needed to aid in the construction of entire cities, much less large buildings. The real mass production of such infrastructures started to occur with the dawn of the industrial revolution which as we all know, took place in the western world, not in the Arabian Peninsula. And ask yourself this: where is the largest source of oil in the world? Right below the feet of those same Bedouins which now made them some of the richest people on the planet and sure enough, they do compete to build the world’s tallest buildings. So in conclusion, all these factors could not possibly have been considered on part of the Arabs or anyone for the matter when this hadith was revealed which only adds credibility that truth lies with Allah and those He guides, solidifying Islam as the truth. See the Hadith of Umar in Bukhari.

isnt the problem though with this understanding that we cant use the quran in anyway for scientific explanations since it can be interpreted in both ways so its meaning is nullified. Whenever you can come to contradictory opinions I dont know how you can argue for anything then. Its "meaningless".
    Or what are your thoughts?

The scientific facts and phenomena in alQuran are the truth. The perfect knowledge. In contrast a scientific observation and/or an interpretation is the reality of day depending on many factors such as the observer and instrumentation.
(But of course some alquranic ayat are muhkamaht and some of them are mutasyabihaht (which meaning only Allah knew exactly the exact takwil)).
AlQuran is the guidance to the truth. So the scientific facts in aQ should guide scientific research to find the truth.
As example we look at 2 slits quantum expt. It is physical science expt. However some scientists come to conclusion that the observed particle-wave transformation in its is something to do with its/matter consciousness attribution.
Comes overzealous Muslim scientists jumped to conclusion that it is in par with some of Prophet SAW Ahadith indicating that he can communicate with anything and everything. However their conclusion make no different between the consciousness of living beings to its the non-living/dead body matter . Their understanding is not in line and in fact against AlQuranic understanding of consciousness of living things.
The fact is that wave-particle transformation can only be similar to a physical state transformation likes liquid to gaseous but it is at a quantum relativistic level.
About the flat or spherical earth, as I see it, it depends on the situation one in or contact.
If one looks as a person standing and looking on the earth surface, for example looking on at the sea, with naked eyes, it surely gives one impression that the earth is only a vast flat plane. Nothing wrong to say the earth is flat in that circumstances.
However alQuranic verse on the relative behavior of the sun, Moon and earth do no fit to above description. Alternate shift of day and night, yearly seasonal variations, and many other periodic and cyclic variations phenomena observe in live surely demand a scientific dimensional consideration to understand and interpretation them. The consistent conclusion from those observations, which is in line with those relevant Alquranic versed, is that the earth must be spherical in shape and swimming in orbit around the sun.
Similarly in many other alQuranic claims that at the beginning the earth and the heavens was originally from a single entity. The most in line interpretation was that by Paul Dirac the physical universe was made of matter and antimatter. Was it via The Big bang? AlQuran doesn't mention the mechanism but does mention the separation of the two has taken place.
The truth is that the Creator is eternally existed in Devine unseen metaphysical reality. It is a state of Devine Singularity realty which is beyond human observation, imagination and intelligent capacity. Creation of the universe was His Will/iradah and it was simply by command word of Power/qudrah "KUN/BE" thus "IT IS" in accordance to His Perfect Knowledge. That marked the starting point of the physical universal time and space.
The important point is that AlQuran is Devine word of absolute Truth. It represents the Devine Perfect Knowledge, information in human Arabic language. The physical and metaphysical universal realities are representation of the Devine Perfect Perfect Knowledge, information in His creative languages. Thus human scientific knowledge is only human understanding of the Devine Perfect Knowledge concluded from their observations and rational interpretation thus subjected to human weaknesses. AlQuranic scientific facts are obviously the perfect knowledge of the Creator but of course are presented in human language, Arabic, so human understanding shall depend on their understanding of the language.
Now each and every alQuranic verse, and element of physical and metaphysical universe(elements of created metaphysical universe are àrash, Kursi, Angels,...) are the existences referred as " ayatullah" or " the signs of Allah existence".

WIll you drink poison after eating 7 dates?Al-Bukhaari (5445) and Muslim (2047) narrated from Sa‘d ibn Abi Waqqaas that the Prophet said: “Whoever eats seven ‘ajwah dates in the morning, will not be harmed by any poison or witchcraft that day.”
The excuses you read about this verse regarding the " cleansing of toxins" in the body show how ashamed Muslims are of this verse. That is just purposefully and deceitfully practicing Taqiyya
Does the sun sets in a muddy pool? Quran 18:86 DO you LITERALLY believe this?
Do you know the Biblical and historical evidence shows that the Moabites worshiped Baal? The pre-Islamic and Muslim sources show that the Meccans took over the idol Hubal from the Moabites and that Allah and Hubal are actually identical. The pre-Islam pagan Arabs worshipped the Moon-god Allah by praying toward Mecca several times a day; making a pilgrimage to Mecca; running around the temple of the Moon-god called the Kabah; kissing the black stone; killing an animal in sacrifice to the Moon-god; throwing stones at the devil; fasting for the month which begins and ends with the crescent moon; giving alms to the poor, etc. Whats different about that to Islam?

    Alif, Lam, Meem. (1)
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. (2)
He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel. (3) Before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Qur'an. Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe punishment, and Allah is exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution. (4)
Indeed, from Allah nothing is hidden in the earth nor in the heaven. (5) It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (6)
It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise - they are the foundation of the Book - and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allah. But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding. (7) [Who say], "Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower. (8) Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise." (9)
And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels.
And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve -
that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced
and those who have believed will increase in faith
and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt
and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills.
And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity. (31)

But if I can say something in such a way that many interpretations are possible, some of which even contradict each other, then how come it's miraculous, how is it then different from Nostradamus' predictions which seem to have many such interpretations and as such "profound"? And how can you even claim so, when Quran says again and again that it's mubeen -- clear and precise, it doesn't have any contradictory claims, etc ? After all, if it weren't clear or precise, how can it guide all and why would anyone believe it without having the same type of scepticism that any intelligent person has towards astrologers/Nostradamus? Yes Quran has mutashabiha verses but you yourself claimed that verses describing natural phenona are to be taken literally; so they can't be taken as mutashabiha, right?
