People can say what they want about season 4's plot holes, but in terms of villain motivation it was the most sophisticated and morally gray. Like, what they were ostensibly aiming for was understandable and made more sense than 'let's destroy the world'. And even though there are 3 of them and it would have been easy to make them super cardboard considering it was just a filler arc, all of Dartz's henchmen are super distinct and have actual personalities. And Alister's backstory is among the most tragic in the Yugioh canon, which is saying something.

Amelda, Varon, Rafael are much better than Kaiba, Yugi, Atem, Jonouchi, Bandit Keith, Pegasus, Bakura, Marik and all the pussy's of the canon timeline.
@BlackDeathViral03 wrong its actually perfect story telling and shows and shows how manipulative and cunning dartz really is.
I like Alister and his backstory is definitely tragic, but many of the other characters have quite tragic stories (Marik and Thief Bakura for example)
There were not even plotholes though... when you just pay attention it simply all makes sense

also rex raptor did 3 thousand DAMAGE to jonouchi (joey) in one move, he is a better duelist than kaiba and yugi and would beat them
and also dartz is a overrated duelist/player but his servants are tougher than him

I always felt Alister should of had Valon armour deck. As it would of fit his character more as he brother loved Dina dude who was a superhero and him using the armour deck to become a superhero.

No, the army deck fit Alister because of his tragic past. The armor deck fit Valon more because he liked to get in physical fights when he was in juvenile hall.
its funny but if those two had swapped decks they probably would have toasted Kaiba and Joey. Valon's armor deck would have blown away all of Kaiba's high attack monsters and Alisters army deck would have tactically pinned down all of joey's useful combo's.

Always thought that DOMA was a reference to Alexandre Dumas the writer of the three musketeers which are presented in the original version of the anime by Raphael, Amelda and Valon. And Dartz name is inspired by Dartagnan.
He was my first husbando with Valon but now I prefer Alito.
I will never forget them with Dartz, one of my favourite antagonists they have both saddest backstories in Yugioh.
Alister was a cool antagonist in my opinion

Alistar first duel with kiba when he uses gorlag to take the blue eyes white dragon the seal of oricalcos it turned it to the red eyes white dragon
I like how Allister used a card that can be searched by Snoww... and another card that can potentiallygiv you wins in the Pendulum Era, and against Trickstar - Skystrikers themselves.

Mai didn’t follow Dartz. She was a rogue. Also, her getting the Orichalcos was just her way of saying hat she hasn’t gotten over her PTSD since Battle City.

By the way the first duel Alistair had with Kaiba he misplayed, as when Kaiba summoned pitch dark dragon in defense mode, Alistar had Kaiba's Versago the Destroyer and could have attacked with that and then Gorlag

Alister his family was captured by Gozaburo Kaiba's tanks during his effort to take over their township.
But how ever Alister doesn't know that Kaiba's step-father didn't do anything to Alister's town and his friends and family during that time it was Dartz pretending to be Gozaburo

It wasn't a scene you showed it was in the episode it was the turn, I think where he played the spell "Toy box" to summon out three tokens then sacrificed one to bring out spell Canceler
Or it was the turn before that I forget specifically, but the episode bothered to show him drawing it and playing it facedown
I really want someone to say the 2 doma organizations are the same things
So Dartz disguises himself as gozuboro kiba, in order to make a child hate kiba Corp so he will grow up to seek vengeance against his adopted son who would be his enemy in the future. But how did he know kaiba would be his enemy, Seto was a child at the time. Or is the Kiba thing just a happy accident on Dartz part? and he just chose Gozuboro at random?

I mean I know they look like each other and sound like each other because if they were wouldn’t alexis like make a reference to Jayden and say his name or ask her self what Jayden would do in a bad situation. I don’t think there the same there probably from different worlds and dimensions because at the end of episode 180 of gx her(alexis),Jayden,chazz,syrus and Rex rapptor, graduated from duel academy so why would she go to another academy. So are they the same and if yes then where are syrus,chazz and zane...
