I don't know...Pippa is on this ark of slowly getting "fixed." Mind you, it's more chat bullying her into taking care of herself than anything, but it's a thing which she's admitted herself. Compare her today to her a year ago, night and day. Mind you, part of that might be putting on a stronger mask as well. But she's bathing, she's cleaning, she's getting _some_ medical care, she seems happier than she was last year. And she went from being on the verge of quitting Phase to seeing them like family so Fishman's at least doing something too.

Pippa was worse off than that. She never considered that she would get this big, and the success terrifies her. Not because she is successful, but because she has no idea how to confront the downward slope. She broke down once on stream and essentially admitted she was going to Kurt Cobain herself at her peak. Fortunately, it looks like she is actually considering her future, and taking steps to live past her vtuber years. And those years WILL end, eventually. She'll get 'fixed.' She'll become an idol. And then her contract will be over, and she will become someone else.
Whoever that person is, I hope they are happy.
Sakana is pretty chill for letting two of his employees talk to him like that.
He's being real clever here too because he knows Tenma's temper is one of her charm points, so riling her up like this is good business.
Dont be fooled by his persona, hes pretty cut throat, and yuri learned what happens when you cross him.
And despite how he seems here we know from pippa and tenma how hew was before Muumi calmed him down, he also shuts down any discussion or any of his decisions.
He intentionally tries to seem like your "friend" when hes your boss, its what a lot of people do.
The lack of professionalism in vtubbing is a big problem, allows people like Sakana to abuse, overwork and underpay their employees who are stupidly fooled into thinking they are some kind of a "family" and wont be fired at a blink of an eye.

Then you know nothing about the vtuber industry. Its one of the worst work industry i have ever heard of, with more scandals plaguing every vtubed company than its possible to believe, with even the "good ones" like the media conglomerate Cover Corporation in charge of Hololive not escaping its share of disgraceful and straight up criminal behavior.
If it wasnt in international mess split between multiple countries legal system most of those firms would fall under multi million dolar lawsuits. Hiring of underage talents, breaking of contracts, shit pay, no insurance, barely any benefits, its a joke not a job.
Dont think your favorite company, Phase Connect is any better than every other faceless corporation. Corporate worship is a mental illness.

Looking at this again after falling further down the rabbit hole phase seems to have unironically begun to "fix" Pippa. I had no idea just how unwell she was untill I watched a fee streams and clips. I certainly don't align with her on many things but her expressing feeling somewhat happy and content with her life and at ease and supported by those around her actually restored some of my optimism for our species. There is no such thing as perfect but seeing a Vtuber agency of all things do so much for a young woman's sense if self worth and well being is genuinely remarkable.
