Sorry for the delay in response. The answer to your question is normally no but if your department wanted to coordinate something with us we can possibly make that happen.
What is an EVOC. Is it an online class or an offline class? How long is EVOC training? Do I need a driving license to learn this course? Will we have to drive a vehicle in this course?
EVOC is this training. It is vehicle based.
In this course you will do nothing but driving so… yes and it’s only available in the police academy
While "back up cam's are nice, I'M old school, I prefer to twist around like old school figurines. that's how I was taught .

Need a new Teacher? I could drive my Cargo Van backwards around back roads! You want to talk about blind spots, you don't know what a blind spot is until you drive a cargo van! I spent many years losing the police, I'm sure I could teach them how to spot drivers like me and how to deal with them... I'm a retired speed courier with over 20 years of experience driving fast without getting stopped. I turned my brain into a driving computer and don't even have to think, I just react to anything that gets in my way!
Oh thats just great " all the equipment creates more blind spot" so lets teach them how to drive fast when they can't see everything around them clearly.🤷🏻♂️🤦🏼♂️
Do you get to choose what vehicle you train with
Great question. Typically officers do the coarse with their assigned cruiser. They do have the option to try the coarse with a different cruiser if they so choose.
