problem is NE has not been marketed well by travel companies. a lot of people are clueless about these 7 states. secondly the kind of travelers (salaried class) who typically travel once in an year or 2 with their families and on a budget think a lot about food and accommodation and NE cuisine is not known to a lot of people except momos !! Unfortunately the videos that does come out of NE shows markets where people sell dogs, insects as food which instantly gives a very wrong impression of the food culture in NE. I saw a video of a market in Nagaland and frankly I found it quite disgusting to see suckling pigs, frogs and live dogs tied in sacks !!! Although it could be common in Nagaland to eat dogs a lot of people in the rest of India will be shocked about eating dogs or frogs.
most vegetarians think that vegetarian food will be difficult. It would be nice if someone from NE makes a good video series of all the "7 Sister " states showing all kinds of homestays, hotels, tourist destinations, food culture ect. Not that people dont want to travel to NE, they just dont know what to expect. Most people who travel want to gather as much information as possible about their destination and unfortunately not much is available about NE states.

Hi Curly Tales, I've been following your vlogs and they are quite interesting. You do good research of a place which you visit and present it nicely. However, in this particular video you showed 3, 4 footages of Meghalaya and mentioned it as Coorg (Your profile photograph is also of Meghalaya). Also, Shillong is 'Scotland of the East' and not Coorg. There is no such place as 'Scotland of India' only 'Scotland of the East' which is Shillong in Meghalaya.
