DUDE! I had just rebuilt my brakes and bled forward backwards sideways and inside out, I could not get it right . I was about to bleed submerged in fluid and though I would try this, this is the BEST my brakes have ever felt. I don’t MX I ride enduro so my front brake is SUPER important! Thanks a lot Cameron!!!

With the master cylinder lid off, lightly tap your front break repeatedly. You will start to see little bubbles rise to the top of the fluid. Do this until you see no more bubbles and you can hear caliper start to engage. Don’t have to loosen any bolts or bleeders. Just take master cylinder lid off and light tap.

Thanks for making this video. Thanks for showing the trick. After rebuilding the master cylinder on my 2003 Honda Foreman Rubicon, I couldn't get the air out of the system to save my life. I never had this trouble in 43+ years of doing my own brake work on all types of vehicles. After hours of bleeding the system, it wouldn't create pressure unless I pumped the handle several times. About the trick: I tied the brake handle back for 16 hours. When I checked it, the brake lever created pressure the first try. I believe that there is still air in the system, is I'll tie the handle back for another 24 hours to see if I get better results.

Did a normal bleeding then zip ties the front brake lever. Voila!! Next morning...full pressure. Thank you so much for this tip. BTW, Motion Pro makes a great little bleeding tool. It is a one way valve that you hook up with the included tubing to the bleeder valve. Then you do not have to sequentially open and close the valve. Got mine through Rocky Mountain ATV. Around $13

How does this trapped air escape from the brake line if the lever is tie wrapped in? Air would have to pass the seal in the master cylinder which it cannot if the lever is in. Pulling the lever is supposed to lock the pressure in the brake line, if any air, or fluid can pass the seal then the brakes won’t work at all.

The previous owner tapped it part way with a larger size and used a chopped off screw to plug it. With the brake line going into the caliber way below the bleeder I see no way all the air would come out gravity feeding .
People stop the pumping the brake lever and all that stuff. It’s unbelievable not 1 video on CZcams has the easiest way to bleed any brake or hydraulic clutch system.
Buy a mityvac. Pull out the bleeder . Clean the bleeder inside and out. Rub thick heavy grease on the threads of the bleeder. Screw it in till it tightens up. Now loosen it 1/4 of a turn maybe a little more. Just as long as the fluid can travel through the bleeder. Use a clear vinyl hose from your bleeder to the catch base bottom on the Mityvac. Don’t let the master cylinder go dry. 2 minutes. You’ll have the air out and off riding your bike.
We use the Mityvac on all brake systems. It works great even with abs brake systems

My bleeder valve is stuck. I hope this is the answer to my problem. Using bolt.

The ziptie trick works for me but the pressure only lasts like 30 minutes

I did a full caliper rebuild on my 99YZ125. New pistons, seals, etc. I am unable to get any pressure whatsoever after about 4 full reservoirs. I had my lever all the way down overnight. Nothing. Fluid and air have come to a creeping halt. Advice?

so what am i supposed to do when even if i open banjo bolt from master cylinder there is 1 to 2 drops of fluid coming out and after that nothing?

Air should technically be gone, but I wouldn't worry about bleeding from the banjo. Too messy. Get some "Tygon" tubing and put it in a bottle with old or new brake fluid and just bleed from the nipple.

no pressure? the key is that the brake line has to be under the level of the master cylinder
( in my bike the line curves over it ) what i did i was holding the line down (with a wire )so the air can flow & escape more eas, that solve my problem...... anyways thanks for the secret trick :)

Put the bottle on the ground and run a loop higher than the brake caliper and it will trap the air. You wont have to keep opening and closing the bleeder. Just pump the brake and keep topped off till line is air free.
