How to do a Car combustion leak tester

Testing an eBay car combustion leak tester on a 2004 mini diesel.
Mini was purchased with possible head gasket gone . Found the coolant tank cap wasn't sealing correctly and the water expansion pipe on the top right side of the tank wasn't sealed properly (you could hear it hissing when engine turned off )

Don’t think I can use this on the coolant reservoir overflow tank instead of the radiator?

Just Google the video title and should give you lots of options to purchase them ... I got mine on ebay
