  • Hey you guys! It seems like every time we react to Led Zeppelin they always show a different side of themselves! This song was different than Kashmir, Stairway to Heaven and Immigrant song! Each of these songs have been unique in style, musicianship and vocals! We are very happy to have listened to Achilles last stand because we get to listen to John Bonham's powerful and demanding drum play! We also get to listen to more of a bassline in this song! All in all we love the way that Led Zeppelin changes their playing style! And we understand why people love them so much! Unlike today's music that has the same beat, Led Zeppelin shows why they are phenomenal at what they do! As always stay safe and we'll see you in our next video! We love you guys!

Usually I can categorize songs in eras, genres, influences, relate them in the flow of music history. Even with most Led Zeppelin songs, you get a lot of blues influence, a little psychedelic, sometimes a little classical, oriental influences, etc. And one can hear clear Led Zeppelin influences in other artist's music. But with Achilles Last Stand, I just don't know. I can't categorize it at all. They did claim oriental and African influences on this song, but I haven't heard anything like this, ever. It's also out of place for 1976. It sounds completely original to me. And I never heard anything newer that sounds influenced by this song, I have just this vague feeling like it belongs to 90's alternative. It's like a road not taken.

Not just a great rock song, but one of the most brilliant musical compositions ever created. When Page told the rest of the band his idea for this, they thought he had lost his mind. After the basic tracks were recorded, Page stayed in the studio, alone, and layered all the guitar tracks over a 24 hour period.
When Plant, Jones, and Bonham head it, they then understood.
The guitar solo is Page's favorite, and has been called, by some, the greatest rock solo of all time.
I'm glad you girls have found LZ! The journey will take you to amazing places, not just with Zep, but with the whole spectrum of music! 😊

Such an underrated album!! You should listen to Tea for One. This Album was done after a nasty car accident that injured Plant, his wife Maureen almost died from her injuries, his children and Jimmy Page's Daughter were in the car. Plant was resigned to a wheelchair while recording this album. Both Achilles and Tea for One, were directly linked to this accident and the lonely recovery. Plant had to quickly leave the country as British Tax Laws were so that Plant could only spent a certain amount of time in the country without getting almost half his earnings. So, his wife was recovering from a bad head injury and couldn't travel. He was overseas.

these 2 girls reactions are so infectious, they seem real and genuine ,where as all these other people doing reaction videos are scripted ,staged and rehearsed, like some people acting for the camera on purpose instead of really reacting to the song, most of them dont care for the song ,they just want to go back and look at themselves........good job girls ,good job

Led Zeppelin is unique in that so many of their songs put a lump in my throat. Their music is just... Perfect. I'm loathe to use the term, "life affirming", but I can't think of any better way to describe how this band makes me feel.

Way to go girls, one of my favs of all time. Did you know that Led Zeppelin 1 & Led Zeppelin 11 were both released in 1969. Dazed and Confused and Communication Breakdown from their first album were heavily played on FM rock stations. Whole Lotta Love and Ramble on from the second album were also heavily played on FM rock stations, at least where I grew up in the Detroit area. Of course many of the other songs got plenty of air play, they are both outstanding albums and worth listening to!

Just as I am, no more night, Oh Holy Night, Mio babbino Caro, and many more. And don't forget the writer of Mary Did You Know Mark Lowry with voctave. Stay well ladies

Of all the Led Zeppelin songs to react to.... you guys chose "Achilles last stand" that is so cool.by the way,on Achilles, Jimmy page refurs to it as his guitar army because while he was recording the album, he was overdubbing his guitar playing.anyhow, you guys ROCK, you give me hope and your knowledge about the band is impressive.check out "in my time of dying"bonzo's(that's Jon Bonham's nickname) drumming is outstanding on that one!

You catch every fine detail of the guitar or the drum and you bring it to everyone's attention. There's always something new to be discovered every time you hear this song, but this is just one masterpiece of Zeppelin's many. You are so great to watch, and each are such great talent. I whole heartedly enjoy your reactions. Keep it up!

7:13 totaly agree. almost every led zeppeling song has like its unique aura.. for me, the most "strange" feelings, i mean a kind of happy vibe mixed with sad and melancolic sound (which i love in music) are since i've been loving you, i'm gonna crawl, all of my love.. those songs are truly masterpieces believe me as a musician i dont recommend anything that's not the best of the band and u did the classics, now it's time to spread led zeppelin vision to see why they're called best band ever. pd i think nobody on all yt did "i'm gonna crawl", 90% of ppl gets stucked on stairwayto heaven im gonna leave you inmigrant song and that's all hahahahah

Seeing two young’ns kabitz about a tremendous track I’ve known about for over 30 years IS AWESOME to watch. Especially in today’s climate. Keep-’em coming’ guys. React to Queen, Save Me... live from Montreal Forum ‘81. You’ll just adore Freddie. Trust me on this.
