Really helpful video man, thanks for filming. I could see the slit in the back end which looked like it should come off but I didn't want to pull to hard in case I was mistaken and ended up breaking it.
Perfect, thanks - was in middle of job and needed to change. Of couse, no instructions in or on the or with the knife and it's by no means intuitive...I also now realise the 'heel' bit is the blade breaker tho pliers are fine. Not a great knife actually; it's very 'handed', so not much use for lefties or r/h using non-dominant; you seem to need to grasp two or three bits of the mechanism to hold blade steady
Mines seems to have a bit of rubber elastic that splits the 2 black parts in the slider, is there any way to stop this? I can't find any sort of push location etc.
i turned the storage device over so that the pushing out device was facing away from me, then (in my left hand with the blade extraction end on the right) I put the sharp edge of the blade uppermost and the small cut out circle in the blade on the right, push it into the orange receiver, it has a little bit of resistance but only a little. Hope this helps?
Hi Paul, I've just had a go with mine and it went straight back in, i turned the storage device over so that the pushing out device was facing away from me, then (in my left hand with the blade extraction end on the right) I put the sharp edge of the blade uppermost and the small cut out circle in the blade on the right, push it into the orange receiver, it has a little bit of resistance but only a little. @@hobbyworkshop8595 Thanks, this helped. A mix of your suggestion and pushing the spring out of the way through one of the little holes with a small screw driver. Cheers
@@hobbyworkshop8595 I’ve worked it out thank you. This one is even easier once you know! You just press the small button at the top side and pull out the old blade. Then while pressing the same button push the new blade in, then release the button. Your video seemed to show the side of the knife off. Thanks for help.
I bought this knife years ago, and just spent 10 minutes struggling to work out how to replace the blade. Thanks!
Thanks for this. Didn't realise the orange bit at the back comes off! Managed to replace my blade after watching this video. 10/10
Was not guessing it came out the back! Thank you!
Thank you! I have been trying change this thing for days!!!
You make it look so easy-I don’t know why I was struggling 🤷🏼♀️?!

Great thanks. Magnusson [AKA B&Q] should give better instructions. May of been on the packaging but that was binned years ago!
The packaging i had didn't have instructions and nothing online either. Poor show from them on this occasion.
My knife recently bought does not have an end to pull off.
The video dose t show how to get the side off either
Hi Frank, you must have a new version of the craft knife, not sure what you mean by getting the side off?

@@frankwilliams-thomas1022 Thanks Frank, must be an updated version of the knife as the one in the video was as it comes in the package.
В мене є нічого інтересного в ньому намає є дешевше і намного лучше хотя і цей недорогий но неудобна ця функція лічно як для мене
Мені шкода, що цього разу вам не допомогли.
