Hey guys, what's up?
15th playthrough as Reptile in a different plataform, why Saturn instead of PSX or PC? Well, after testing houglass at 64 bits system me and my friend concludes that we can't run any game at these current system, SDR played in a 32 bits system to make that Chameleon run, PSX is the worst port made, bad loading time, so many sound issues, Saturn was the second option for me since houglass can't emulate.
The second reason is because SDR already did a run at N64 so why do the same things again? That's why I give a try at Saturn, I will try to bring Noob Saiboot here too, he has some good glitch exploits here.

"PSX is the worst port made" - are you serious?
Since we had all those infinite loading time, sound issues, that's my conclusion, sadly I can't emulate MKT PC to TAS in it, they fixed the sound issues patching some archives, there's no load time too, basically the best port made was PC, Saturn should be better due his better ram memory that for unknown reason midway didn't use it, if they did probably Saturn wouldn't have load times, that's a midway fault, PSX is just a 2mb ram console, your competitor was years forward from his console hardware making arcade emulation a reality due better hardware, so Sega Saturn is my second preference for play, record, since I can't bring PC port.
well, first off - Saturn and PC are ports of the PSX version, as it was released first for Sony. I don't know what sound issues you are referring to, thats probably emulation problem.
Then, the loadings are equal if not even longer on Saturn (watch some videos on real hardware). Playstation version has more animations and sounds, while Saturn has frame drops, missing sounds and slow downs.
I agree the PC Windows version can be counted as superior, although it has missing animations and sounds as well tho.
Yes they are, and they has capacity to emulate better than the first port, no it's not just a single emulation problem, I had a PSX before and bought some CDs to play it, some of them are crappy.
Like I said before "midway fault" why when they released it for PC they emulated it better than two console ports? Watch out comparison videos putting all marvel games released for both PSX and Saturn ports, PSX taking negative points in every single detail, frame dropping, missing animations and longer loading time. That's the real differences between a 4mb against 2mb. Midway just released his game to Saturn without takes what Saturn could show to improve what was missing at PSX port. The same happened for PC.
It's not Midway's fault, but Point of View, while the PC Version was ported by GT Interactive. If they used the full capacity of Saturn, maybe the MKTrilogy could be the best for that console, but since it's not, it is considered the worst CD version of the game. Back in days and nowdays too.
That's a poor work for both ports, I don't like PSX version, had a bad experience in both console and emulation, now Saturn comes showing a stable game and no issues about sound. I feel for a bad emulation found on houglass, probably Saturn will be all my choices to classic characters absent at Nintedo 64 port.
Loading by loading will no matter what port will be. Probably every CD version fail for our best MK version.

When I played these Mortal Kombat games if you wanted to play a fight, you would pay and if you lost you would pay again the only important thing was to win. Now there are no longer good players pure programmable fake software to see "good" programs to the character so that with the press of a little button do what you can not learn. (TAS) I am one of those who prides me that what I do or learn does not make a software the Milli Vanilli in video games version
