This. Is. It. I want to experiment with temporary locs using human hair. I have fine hair so I want something light and airy and easier to remove. Locking in that loop at the top makes this possible. So incredibly innovative! Thank you for sharing. You've gained a subscriber.

I combed out my locs in Feb... just went into my bag of hair... yall know the bag. Well I had my old Kinky Curly clips in there and started making my loc extensions. Wasn't sure how I was going to attach them since my hair is blonde and the locs are natural color. Now I'm going to make the loop ends and see how that goes. Thanks!

I can’t wait to start making mines.. my hair is 1” and fine I have to wait til it’s about 2.5-3” to get a grip to crochet and put the locs in.. o was able to put singles in my hair so I’ll be rocking this til I get my length.. so til then I’ll be making my locs. I use to do the crochet method on my locs prior I’m so excited!!

Great video. I always tried to stay away from this technique for years. Because I was scared it would not come out right. I always did it the traditional way. And it didn’t look natural like I wanted to. I took the plunge and did it. I used the synthetic freetress crochet hair the Pearl curl. And I love how the way they came out. Now I just got to figure out what technique to use to install them. Thank you.

Hey does it matter which kinky curly bundles we use , if so can we us synthetic without bleaching it?
You can use any hair you want. This technique works for human or synthetic. If you use a looser texture you may need to add more hair to make the loc thicker.

1. Kinky curly 2. I’ve seen all over TikTok with men and women with loc extensions so nope. Definitely a unisex style. I have an updated video I posted with a hair company you can try. It’s a sponsored video but I have had no issues with the hair so far.

What is the difference between the different loc tools?? I want my locs to look more like messy twists that are about to loc so would the 1-hook tool help me to get that look??
I’m not an expert in locs as this was my first time. The ones with more pins gather more hair. If you want it messy you can just use the one with one.

How did u know how much hair to crochet to get the correct size for ur sections?
I counted how many boxes and rows I planned to put in my hair then made the locs. When I installed them I still ran out of locs and had to make more. 🫠

You can make them permanent by not doing the loop. The loop was only for me to temporarily attach it to my head.
