Make no mistake Moa and Momo can both sing when given the opportunity.
yah japan is a diff culture. they can sing....all of em...just they feel no reason to. Su can do all of it and last the whole show but i dont think the other 2 can but DEF can sing 1 song.....AND out of all 3....Moa sings the best imo. she has a very warm voice...i guess we CRAVE more and more but i think its better to have a small special treat of them singing then making them which is impossible to do. japanese culture is 1 place where u never FORCE someone to do something when doing business. its why they dont..because they have the choice not to. its not like china where everyone is forced to do things or they die. i believe thats why japan wanted to crush china.
Not enough people notice that Su knows the choreo for this song at all 3 positions.
She has switched with Moa twice Yui once and Momo once
Su, Moa, Momo, and (Yui and Avengers at the time) know all the dances from each position. Pretty obvious watching over the years.
Actually I think passed to Yui twice, passed to Moa 4 times. Yui had two 15th birthday shows same with Moa, who had two 15th bday shows and two 20th bday show
Just loved seeing Momo getting to shine. The MOST kawaii voice ever perhaps! Anyways she's the perfect fit to return Babymetal to the trio they were always meant to be.
She sounds like a vocaloid haha
Metal growls were the "only" thing Babymetal had been lacking, but that ends now. Can't wait to see how much of it they incorporate in their next album.

Just so you guys know, the people who create those *BABYMETAL* fan-made "documentaries" are creating them, with Reaction video creators in mind. They are for everyone & anyone, who wants to know more about the group. And with Reaction video content that even slightly involves *BABYMETAL* being as beloved as it is by a such a huge portion of the fanbase, I can guarantee you that we all want to watch you guys react to the new doc. 🤘🏻😜
People forget how talented Momo really is. Her path to BabyMetal was so different from others. Yes, she was part of SG. But before joining BabyMetal, Momo performed in theater. One can never overlook what it takes to be a theater performer. What she brings to BabyMetal was something the group didn’t really have.
I still say Momo needs her own “Angel” nickname. Su is our Goddess of Metal. Mos is our Angel of Love. To me, Momo is our Angel of Joy. 😂

Momo has already been titled "Angel of Joy" for quite some time now, as well as Queen of Kazoo, Kabuki Queen, Momo-monster and Vampire Slayer. 😉

Just so you know,we also get a "Momo growl" in the live official video of "Metali" BTW, A Fox Song channel just released a new updated Babymetal doc that they want shared amongst the fans. It's really good and you should consider giving it a reaction
I think Momo did great. She brings such a vibe to Babymetal, she fits in great. When Babymetal gets around to cutting a new album, I hope they take advantage of Momo's growls.
I like how Momo made it her own. With her screams and Hedoban growl, she went extra kawaii singing to showcase total ownership. I loved that! Where BABYMETAL juxtapose their music, vocals, choreography, visuals, genres... etc., Momo does the same. We always say how can two totally separate things can sound so good together. Well, Momo does it and proves she belongs in BABYMETAL.

I was there for this. The extra excitement going through the crowd when we realized what was about to happen was incredible. Momometal also sang lead on “Meta Toro” and that was equally special and *_so_* pink!
I was at Legend MM for Momobanger and it was an amazing show. While I expected it would be great, I didn't expect her to do it in the way she did it. If there was any doubt that the fans have embraced and love Momo, this performance put those doubts to bed.
I know that was her voice but did she do it live -the scream-
@idontworryaboutnothing9980 Depends who you ask. Some people think she did it live, others think it was pre-recorded. Personally, I think it was pre-recorded.

I was at this show, it was an insane amount of fun! Both nights were magical!
Hell yeah! Su’s vocals were always more melodic here, Momo sang it in a staccato style, and extra kawaii. I’m excited to see if they’ll have Momo do a few more screams in the future!
On the guide: CrypticMisery has commented positively on reactions to his “Everything you need to know about Babymetal updated” guide so I don’t think he minds. Pretty sure the new guide’s author for “Not so extensive guide to Babymetal” wouldn’t mind either. But don’t want to speak for them, you can always ask them!

I hope you got to see Momo descending from the arena roof on a "flying saucer" before the song. I hear it makes the videos get blocked, so maybe you saw it off camera. Actually, I see SG Love didn't include it. Anyway before the song began that's what happened.

March 3 is a day known as " Momo no Sekku" (Peach Festival) in Japan, and Momoko must have been named after it🍑💙

Yeah, the Momometal contrast is real.
The show was on March 2nd, 2024.
This was the last night that Momoko would be twenty years old.
That's why the lyric change from "ichigo" (15) to "hatachi" (20 years old) makes sense.
They made the same lyric change for Su and Moa's 20th birthday shows, LEGEND S and LEGEND M.
The next night was Momoko's 21st birthday.
That show featured a special version of Meta Taro (know as "Momo Taro") that also featured Momoko's singing.
Unfortunately the "complication" you watched left out the kamishibai (picture story narration) for this song.
That's definitely worth looking for.
There's another kamishibai for the March 3rd show (on Momoko's 21st birthday) that introduces 'Momo Taro'.
Someone said including the lore video intro causes CZcams to block it. Idk.

Nice reaction. I was pulling for Momo to become and official member of Babymetal. and every time they perform now. Momoko proves she was the right choice for the job. The foxhole is deep and now full of even more surprises.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う。 Juxtaposition of growl and overly cutesy (intentionally anime-like) voice by Momometal. New ammunition of BABYMETAL. Momoko cannon loaded with sheer dark explosives and a warhead made of shiny and bubbly metal. I witnessed this performance and got crushed into pieces, smilingly of course, at the venue and was also honored to have a chance to celebrate Momoko's last day of her 20 years of age.
I found out about all the great Japanese rock and metal bands while searching for the Puffy Ami umi/Guitar Wolf theme song for Teen Titans. Babymetal was among the first. I couldn't believe what I was seeing LOL

Tons of folks react to the "story of" BM vids (honestly, the creators make them with that in mind now) but it's totally your choice. :) But as you say, very interesting that the full time members of BM all started in Sakura Gakuin waaaaaaay back when.
I hope that at some point they replace all the current growls with Momometal growls. Now that we have a babymetal singer can growl, I hope they will more with it and take advantage of her growls because they actually sound amazing!

I love how much more fun everyone has during those special versions of Headbanger. The crowd fired up even more than usually. The girls all smiling and big respect to Su for having so much fun doing Momo's part (she is all the time smiling) :)
Oh, and I loved Su's encouraging nod when she handed over the mic to Momo. Lovely souls.
Momo doing the screams was probably the biggest surprise out of this. I want more Momo screams in future songs as well as more singing out of Momo and Moa in general.

Crypticmisery made the documentary especially for reactors to watch, The 40 minute guide is the best one to watch. Not sure why YT would copyright this, the creator definitely wouldn’t have done. This was a mix of fancam and official video. So not really a compilation as such. Enjoyed your reactions on this vid. See you next time.
Proud of Momo, Imagine that feeling. Growing up a fan of Su, following in her steps leading up to finally joining Babymetal as Yui's replacement, finally getting officially in and mic'd up.. then on your 20th birthday, Su hands you the mic and you see thousands of people bowing down before you.

Great reaction guys! You seemed a bit uncertain of the growls but yes, that is Momometal doing them, as well as the screams. She actually did growls back in the days with Sakura Gakuin, so yes, she is capable of doing those. And the contrast to her overly kawaii singing voice is just so adorable.

Well I expect SG Love means Sakura Gakuin, the group where the Original Babymetal came from and that even mattered for Momoko after Mao and Yui graduated. Bur after Momoko geaduazed she first added some time in Theater. What Babymetal Lacken but sometimed used were screems and growls but Momoko has learned this and as she demonstrates she can also sing. And this is wanted since we want to hear Momo but she doesn't want to sing Solo.

I've come from surely seeing all your reactions to Babymetal and I'm surprised that you haven't yet reacted to "BxMxC" or also to "No rain No Rainbow"
The first is a demonstration of Sue's talent for entering as a newbie into a genre so different from the usual one and being able to handle it like a queen.
The second is one of the sad songs in Babymetal's repertoire in which you can notice how Sue seems to get carried away by the song every time she sings it and is on the verge of crying.
Without a doubt they would be my 2 recommendations for now.

I looked on you guys youtube page and couldn't find MOABANGER. Maybe it's there and I'm missing it. If not, Please react. Moa actually sings slightly lower than Su. Momo being the highest, then SU and then Moa. She is really good too! It has 10 million views in 2 years for the one that I am finding on CZcams. She has a great smile while she is singing. She was enjoying herself. Great!
While to us outsiders Momometals performance is a surprise, I’m sure to Babymetal they have known for a long time that she was the missing piece of the band.👊🏽⚡️🦊🤘🏾

It's seems like you haven't seen Moabanger... You need to check that one out. Moa has an AMAZING VOICE! No knock at Momo who did a fantastic job! And Momo's growls are AMAZING!
But yeah, Moabanger totally worth it!
Also No worries about the documentary videos, you don't need to react to it but everyone does and at the very least the one by CrypticMisery is up for reactors to react to, so you won't be crossing any lines there. But ultimately it is up to you.

If Koba was smart he would integrate more Moa and Momo vocals into future albums.
Su and Mia are fast approaching the age where they can’t be dancing and looking “cute” the whole concert.
If you don’t give more singing parts to Momo and Moa, there soon will be no reason for them.
What you have yet to realise (for some odd reason because Moa has been very clear), Moa has little desire to take the mic, she states she wants to focus on dancing and being support vocals. I wouldn't doubt black babymetal will make a comeback but in the end it's up to the girls. And a new concept, to be a cute adult. Its clear theyve been experimenting, now that momo has joined there needs to be paitence to let babymetal grow again.
At 12:18, not true at all,... the you tubers that have their own BM doc vis LOVE IT when others react to their BM videos.
