- NBC10's Katy Zachry reports as the last of pro-Palestinian protesters at the University of Pennsylvania's campus continue to chant and wave a Palestinian flag as surrounded by police Friday morning. Police officers were arresting protesters one at a time, some refusing to walk to the waiting police vans.

This is the method of nonviolent protest used most effectively under MLK to fight for the vote and much more. Ghandi in India, south Africa,... Early American writer Thoreau wrote On Civil Disobedience , an essay on why this is very patriotic.
Clearly, those who were set free from the jails were not guilty in the first place. Others, it is in the nature of negotiations to reach goals thru sacrifices, like Union collective bargaining and strikes.

I read an article today mentioning that normal-looking males are filling the hard-science and engineering classes -- thus no time for 2 to 3 week camping parties; while the females disproportionately fill the soft majors like humanities, psychology, gender studies, social science, etc.
