    This is the most honest video youve ever made. Specifically, pointing out that your TRT and Lenire both have no placebo or control group at all and that is a significant impact on someone recovering on their OWN or if yours or their treatment ACTUALLY did anything. Both Lenire and your TRT are habituation treatments. Period. I can't wait for Shore's device because she actually meticulously did placebo controls and tracked reductions in LOUDNESS. Not solely TFI scores.

I have Central Nervous System tinnitus which is not surprising. I am 75 years old and had a line drive baseball hit my sinus cavity years ago which contributes to weird health issues. I'm currently on week 7 of lenire. I think it's helped, I had a tinnitus score of 86 when I started, and last week I scored 38. Although, after taking that test I had a very bad spike for a week after. Its not a cure I don't think, but its has helped. I'd like to add, I have no idea where I'd be had I not used it, i could have habituated to the same level of tinnitus Im currently at without the use of Lenire, I'll never know.

      I have an odd thing going with my tinnitus. A lot of the time I get tinnitus and along with it is a feeling of internal buzzing or shaking, particularly in my legs. It really messes with my ability to sleep. I could live with just the tinnitus as I’m good at ignoring sounds but the buzzing, and vibrating and internal shaking I can’t ignore. It’s very debilitating sometimes once sleeping through it is impossible. The somatic part is driving me bonkers. I also have bouts of pulsatile tinnitus.

    Dear Dr. Ben, after 3 years going through a proces of habituation my somatic tinnitus is less bothering. Unfortunately I still every 2 or 3 days have a spike for 1 or 2 days. Although I dont experience it as a danger anymore it does bother me a lot. I than often listen to your masking sounds to replace my high pitch sound “outside” my head so I can get some rest from it. 3:54 not sure if your argument is totally valid. So you say that very often hearing loss is causing tinnitus (like the brain is replacing the missing frequencies with sounds). Logically (as you say) if you treat hearing loss, you improve tinnitus. This device here does not treat hearing loss so it can't work. ... But what if this device tackles this strange connection between heatring loss and tinnitus? What if it convinces the brain that hearing loss is "ok" and there is no need to produce these high noises?

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  Před 29 dny

      Right, this device will not correct for hearing loss. We may not be able to convince the brain that hearing loss is "ok" but we can teach the brain to interpret tinnitus as a neutral sound rather than a bothersome one.
