Charlotte Gaisford is a British fabric and wallpaper designer! All her designs are stunningly beautiful and colourful. We share several rooms of her house with you and Charlotte gives great tips on how to mix pattern. Her classic English interior style is out of this world and absolutely timeless. What a wonderful treat ! Thank you Kirsten and Joerg for taking us along ! I'm usually more of a neutral color person but there's something about the way Charlotte combines her colors and patterns that isn't jarring to the senses . She has a way of making a space vibrant and relaxing at the same time . I wish I could meet you both and give you a big hug to say " thank you for the lovely places and people you take us to " . 💕💕🇨🇦
To me, her designs, muted colours, patterns and textures look very 'busy' - until they are combined and layered, and then, much to my surprise, the total effect is stunningly beautiful! Thank you so much for the tour! I wish she would have let you speak more though.

Hahah never - we have the collie combo in our kitchen.
It’s amazing how she blends all the patterns and it just works, just beautiful. I’ve always loved colors in decor but nowadays it seems everything is gray and square or beige and boring.
I know, we simply can't live with grey and beige (we had a rental before we bought our place and everything was grey and it was horrible).

As an American, I marvel over the differences between English style and the many trends here on this side of the pond. It was delightful to see her home, her style, and hear her design advice. I loved hearing her advice to pull from more than one designer! I’ve always felt that my space has been enriched by my antique touches, a mix of fabrics, and of course, sweet dishes-love her work and creativity process. And as always thank you for a lovely adventure.❤
Oh this is the classic English country style which is absolutely gorgeous. The trend here however is something else, it's very grey actually, it's horrendous.

As a retired designer I am over the moon about her fabrics. The way she artfully mixed the reds, greens and blues in her guest bedroom without it becoming too busy was just brilliant!!!

I've never heard of Charlotte Gaisford, since I'm in the United States, now because of you, I'm following her Instagram page. I wish I can order some of her beautiful fabrics for my own home! I love your channel so much. I discovered you on vacation one year, and it was the most calming, peaceful, beautiful channel. When I watch your videos it's like a calm in the storm of my life. I envy your calm, sweet personality and your beautifully calm and peaceful life and all the places you and Joerg visit. I know God gives us the life we are supposed to have, so I'm not saying I'd change my life, but I am thankful that you and Joerg share yours with all us. ♥ Wishing you both all the best and many happiness.

Super schön und interessant 😊! Man kann sich nicht sattsehen und findet , die ein oder andere, neue Anregung 😍. Da kann man auch wieder sehen, wie gut doch verschiedene ( und doch abgestimmte) Muster und Farben zusammenpassen 👍🏻! Ich liebe es .
Mut zur Farbe haben wir auch von den Briten gelernt und in unserem zu Hause umgesetzt☺️.

Oh I just loved this. All the gorgeousness of it. I want to surround myself with fabric and cushions and lamp shades. Why wouldn’t you want all that cosiness in your home. I don’t think I could live with just hard surfaces everywhere

Absolutely brilliant use of pattern and color! Rich, inviting, yet not overpowering. Her sense of space, dimension, and juxtaposition are quite extraordinary. I'm American, but love the maximalistic approach of the English design. Charlotte has brought so much delight into a room!

Being an Interior Designer Myself it was such a Joy seeing her Fabulous Color Ways placed together. Everything was so Well Done with her layering of Fabric's. Then the Coordinating Wallpapers were an added Treat. Hearing you Say "How Substantial the Fabric and Wallpapers were" makes me want to locate her Design's and Order for My Personal Use. I want to Thank you Both for such a wonderful Video filled with Rooms that were Treats for the senses. Just seeing the Fabrics you could see the Quality. Knowing now its a Mix of Cotton and Linen takes the guess work out. Useing natural fibers is always the best. Once again Thank you so very much for such an enjoyable video.

This was such a pleasure to watch and Charlotte is such a warm and chatty person and just makes one feel right at home. You are a good pairing as you have that love for quality and colours and different patterns as Charlotte does and you share a good sense of how to mix and match colours and materials. It all looks so lovely. I thought I had a favourite then you went to another room and I thought, "Oh no, it is this one!" Kirsten, you did such a wonderful showcase tour and so now you have another talent to add to the long list of your other ones. I will have to watch this a number of times as there was just so many lovely things to see. Charlotte, like yourself, has made a home that embraces one with its warmth.
