To be fair to the spot, he'd had his powers for almost as long as miles has. So the "less than a day" rule don't apply to him. If anything it makes him come off worse. Like bro didn't even train.
I mean, considering how he was acting, he didn't need to train. He wasn't really fighting people, and didn't have a reason to, he was just trying to get by in his now fucked life.
But once he had his reason in front of him, and another reason form with it, he rapidly fulfilled his potential and became a proper menace.
