Only Mariano Rivera has a lower ERA than Wagner when it comes to a minimum of 800 innings pitched and 75% of appearances in relief. He was just as dominant as Rivera and Hoffman. He's a Hall of Famer in my opinion.

During the late 90s and 2000s. Rivera, Hoffman and Wagner were the best closers. He deserves to be. He was elite at his position.

The word legend gets thrown around so easily these days. No wonder they're voting players into the Hall of Fame who don't belong there. Wagner was a good reliever for a long time but a legend he is not.
