the way Gwen's universe was animated gets me choked up every time. the way emotions are visually represented not just in color, but shapes and gradients and brush strokes. plus Gwen's own story was such a tearjerker, i can't wait to see what happens with her and her Dad.
also 11:00 this kinda makes the whole story sound a bit like a Spider-themed Multiverse of Madness, but with Miguel instead of Wanda

The last detail is my favorite one. I didn't even realize it in theater's and man it's such a small glimpse to see the glove tear open on Mile's index finger. Props to the animation team and this video. 🙌

That was my favorite detail, too. I wondered why he didn't use his venom blast earlier. I totally missed the gloves (despite seeing it 9 times in the theaters). Absolutely amazing!

Just can't express the amount of joy I get watching things about this movie, while watching the movie myself I noticed most of the obvious details while with some of the details hidden as well, but I just instantly realized to art style of how it changes and what depicts what. The animator supervisor must be one of the best to supervise this, I just can't thing less of the metaphors representing our real life, it's inexpressible how some things are just same, whether you're someone like miles or you're just a common human being, the essence of life doesn't changes for anyone
When Miles is drawing the background ( 6:30 ) it also shows that he is writing his own story (doing his own thing)

The rubber glove scene also showcases what miles learnt in the first movie. Don't watch the mouth, watch the hands.

Later when Gwen reveals her identity to Captain Stacy, he is depicted between Orange( role as a father) and blue (responsibilty as a cop) and later in complete blue when he is reading the rights to Gwen.

When it comes to the comments at 4:30, my headcanon is that all those comments are canon, just at different points in time one or the other was first in the comment list. I also think the "I heard it was made from actual _____ tho fr" sounds like it could be the user referencing a popular meme in that universe and applying it to Spiderman #2, especially considering we see two versions of it. I also like the detail of the videos calling him Spiderman #2 cause he also calls himself Spiderman and the public wouldn't know how to differentiate the names in searches otherwise.
I love how miles is draining Miguel’s power from his suit at the end of the chase scene, and when he goes to venom strike Miguel, he presses his palm on Miguel. Just like Hobie taught him to maximize energy transfer. It’s like Bruce Lee’s one inch punch. Amazing attention to detail.
Miles did a Flux Fissure from Lost/Judgement
This purple battery logo 7:43 looks exactly like the logo of Indian brand Eveready which coincidentally also manufactures batteries.
Number 18.1, 7:20 the battery can also be a nod to Prowler you know with the P and the color scheme of the battery, and is also a nod to a real battery brand Eveready which has a black cat on it as well
At 2:06 Miguel wasn't about to eat Vulture, he was going to incapacitate him with his venom (his DNA was spliced with a spider's so he has venomous fangs along with his talons)
7:25 look at the battery that is on the watch in particular. It’s in the prowlers colors, has the signature prowler panther on it, and the letter P. another subtle nod to the fact that miles is actually supposed to be the prowler instead of Spider-Man.
As a long time fan of you and an Indian, great to see that you are also considering Indian movies for your breakdown. There is something about Jawan, the director took many main aspects from his previous films and also some other movies which has a impactful message to the society.

My absolute favorite minor detail in this movie is at the beginning when we're getting Gwen's backstory. When Peter is dying in Gwen's arms, his shirt is torn up from transforming and getting crushed. The lighting in the scene gives Peter's skin a red hue, so with his torn blue shirt, it looks like he's wearing the OG spider suit. Didn't catch it until my second viewing, but it blew my mind.

A detail I saw: in the clothes changing scene, in the Halloween part, Peter was wearing a green dino costume, looking awfully like a lizard. And guess what he became. A lizard. God damn the animators really put their mind and heart into this movie!

5:43 you can see by the color scheme how Gwen's father is split between sadness bit still has a little bit of hope. You can also notice in the next shot, when he raises a gun at his own daughter, he is completely filled with sadness. Kudos to the animation team for this 👏 👏

i love how you put out another video and topped all your previous ones by actually talking to the team, ive noticed some of the other breakdown channels starting to say that they're doing 0.25x speed breakdowns now and I'm just here like "ohhh yeah where did you get that idea" so im glad youre still staying on top of the game ! huge credits to you !
I also like the detail that Hobie knows how Gwen feels about Miles and that she cares about him, probably picks up that the two are in love & the romantic tension like Pavitr. The clear indication being that he leaves the watch he made default to Miles's universe.
Also, I think the eye color further indicates my theory of Miguel shirking his duties of being Spider-Man in the replacement universe. It likely could have been that another Spider-Man was going to be formed in that universe, but detected that Spider-Miguel was present and seeing as how he shirked his Spider-Duty for a normal life, it punished him for ignoring that duty. Being his equivalent/canon event of losing someone he cares about due to being selfish, instilling the great responsibility lesson.
Will admit, I was wondering why the gloves looked like that when he pulled on the chain before, didn't realize they put rubber gloves on him.

So yeah something about baby powder and old spider man got me caught up in it because Peter b Parker is an old spider man who uses baby powder but of course it says old spider didn’t use baby powder so maybe it’s telling us that he doesn’t use baby powder anymore.

It's interesting that you state blue means sadness and orange means hope, I always took blue to mean duty/responsibility and redish/pinkish to mean family. In the scene you show Gwen is blue because she's worried about her life as a spider person, but then her dad is approaching her from the perspective of a father, so he's orange.
In that later scene where Gwen reveals she's spider-woman, the dad is blue AND red because he's conflicted on if he should be a cop or a dad, and he ultimately chooses to be a cop
