    I could be wrong; but, you don’t want to keep the black tank and grey tank open all of the time. If you do the liquid will run off leaving a pile of tp and other matter which will pile up and cement into place. Leave the tanks closed and open when 70% full like normal then flush with the grey tank. In this type of system go ahead and add some water to the black tank to help it stay loose. Great Video just offering a opinion is all! Thx 🤔😄

      You need to do more research, specifically on how RVs are built. They focus on them being portable and keeping weight down. This comes at the cost of thinner, less heavy duty materials. However that's ok... You know why? Because most people don't live in these 365 days a year. They design these to be used maybe 30 days a year at the most, and have a life span of maybe 15 years with good maintenance. So when you live in these 365 days a year, it wears out significantly faster.
      Imagine an automobile maker creating a vehicle based on someone driving 15k miles a year... Well the vehicle won't have many problems over the next 10 years, at which time it will have 150k miles on it. However, if someone uses it as an Uber vehicle and puts 100k miles a year on it, you can't still expect it to last 10 years when you are using it far beyond what the manufacturer intended.
      Most tiny homes are built with the same code as an actual home. We are talking 2x4 walls with 16" off center studs for example. These are literally just scaled down versions of a small home. They are built significantly tougher than these RVs to be able to withstand the daily abuse that we put on our homes.
      I lived in a camper for a year at one point, just me. I was extremely careful as I understood it was not built the same as a house, and after a year, I had cabinet doors that were loose, floors that creaked, fold away steps that had started to bend a little, bed framing that was pulling apart, flooring that was trying to come up, etc. It was obvious after a year that these are not built to the standards of handling long-term abuse every day of the year for many years.
      Now I will say, park models are a little tougher than a standard RV, but they are still not on the same level as a tiny home with 16" off center beams.
      You don't have to take my word for this, but at least do your own research and look into how RVs are built compared to a tiny home and please don't take some salesmans word for how it will last.

    My brother and sister in law just bought one and they love it. They are enjoying every minute of this. They are retired ( which my husband and I are also) and they own their home ( which we do too) but they plan to take this to a vacation spot near their home and that is what they have done and it is wonderful for them. Their five adult children and spouses and grandchildren show up for the day and have such fun. Then they even have the ( well a couple) grandchildren stay overnight at a time. The back end of their trailer opens up and they can have the kitchen outside and barbecue or cook that way. their neighbor and friends also bought one and they go camping. it was not easy with the Pandemic but they did open up a few of the State parks and with social distancing, it was allowed. These are very nice. I think I would not mind them as a home. Our home is great but in this day it is good to save money in any way you can as heat and other things can be so expensive. Not sure just which way would e best, but it is enticing.

    This is such a lovely home. A lot of the bigger campers and RVs use so much dark brown that it feels like the whole thing is made of dark wood but the designers did such a good job of balancing the colours out.
    It's basically a mini mansion.
    If a single person bought this, you could make the leave the couch folded out, turn the loft into some sort of nook, the other bedroom into a small library, and the master bedroom into a walk-in closet.

I've seen smaller more expensive trailers have issues with seals, pop out motors, and more. Whats going to break on this and when is the first thing that pops up in my head :D hope I don't sound like a grinch! But when your buying something like this, your buying your future for a long time.

      The lip on that toilet lid isn’t going to stop any smells because it doesn’t have a seal around the inside of the lid.That’s what the flap in the bottom of the toilet is for. It has a rubber gasket that keeps the tank smells from coming into the trailer but, you have to add enzymes every time you drain the tank. There are also fragrance pods you can add as well but they don’t seem to do much. You also have to lubricate that gasket regularly.

      Negative. All plumbing fixtures contain a special pipe which resembles the letter P or U. These are called "P" or "U" "Traps." They trap water which remains constant in between flushes/drainage to septic/city waste disposal line. This trapped water prevents smells from backflowing. That 4" of water makes modern life possible. :)

    Love the video.
    I had looked to possable buying and moving into one as a tiny house used to reduce my expenses.
    What I like? I like the large sliders. Though guessing like many 4 sliders are orefered so to take a small space and increase it to potentially 3 times the size, bases on both sides sliding out plus the center space between. I like the foldout twin couch. I think a very large living area is a must for the rest of the space feeling a it cramp. This way you have a space you can go and not feel crowded. Idealisticely the living area should feel like the sice of a house living area. I like there is an actually pantry which actually has depth to it's at least like a small home pantry I like the home refrigerator/ free. Where as many others seem that their refrigerator is toy sized. Where an ice chest, and mini refrigerator seems more preferable than many of the small refrigerators on other trailers. I like it is 3 bedroom. I like the size shower. So many trailor seem to not be made for men to be in but small women and small children. Like the kitchen size and storage makes a big plus. I also live love love that it had a top to bottom washer and dryer. I cant say,enough the pain of some public washateria. With having to find one, sharing the machines with others, loss of confidence, empty for others use, people leaving and lea lead their items in machines, should hou empty a machine I need that someone is not there to monitor, forgetting laundry there which I had forgotten an extremely nice, comfortable, nice, soft to the touch while cool knthe skin large King size comforter. You,get the picture to how important to have hiue own washer dryer.
    I would have liked for it to have the outdoor living, grilling, tv option. Again to create a large living space to which people do not have to feel cramped all the time. Again man size living. I would have like seeing more size in the secondary bedrooms. So, that they are not just for children, but actually for an adult. They could have also added slider doors for those rooms to have privacy maybe even a latch door lock. I like the drive off price for all it does. Then possable their own private entrance/exit. I would like to see one large sliding mirror in the master bedroom. That way you have more hanging cloths space. And, the mirror will make the room feel and look twice its size. Trailers must make the showers feel they are actual man size in height and width, with shoulder and elbow room of big strong men.Agsin the living space much feel like a trule size living space. To feel the size of an actual home living room. Like the stove and over are two separate pieces. This way I have found replacing the peice you need will be much much cheaper and easier to replace. I will also say with the R.V.s I have seen in person that the fold out steps seem to be a bit too steep and potentially dangerous for those who may be clumsy, elderly and less mobile for ant reason, difficult for children, slippery, and even though they may work, seem to be just plain dangerous. I am thinly curly could be made better and safer. Potentially one long slider ramp for when the R.V. may be parked in a space allowable. Maybe the ramp not only has stickum tape across it but also potentially actual foot size feet planks, like an attic retractable door though with this sliding out from the whole with of a trailer should be able to be longer.
    Additional thoughts. I,seen some trailer s which has an toy carrier for people to to lower that back wall so,to drive in an small car/dumbuggy or couple of R.V.. I seen a potental 3rs function to be a 2nd full bedroom option/flex room. That way two adults can get and move into one like room mates. Or, a potental rental room for someone again to spread out a dollar and share the expence with another person. Dislike on the over hang microwave m I know it may seem and feel like a smart use of space, but I find those microwaves cost way more than one hou could have slide in an over hange space or shelf somewhere within the kitchen. This way the replacement, when it mat go out, is much cheeper, and easier to replace.
    I was expecting to see a link to facebook. Something more permanent, that a person can add a link to and be able to find your pages any time.
    With the 3 bedroom hype, part of me was thinking the roof was a retractable in the sence of in reading in height after parked.
    Finally, I still think R.V.s of today still have a lot to improve on and make better use of space. A person should be able to feel they can have it all as far as a home or home away from home all the while not nessacarly having the same living space of an actual home.
    I also think great lighting, mood lighting inside and outside can make a giant difference.
    And, with people now days always trying to cut back on experience, for R.V. should be trying to make the most out of solar panels/energy.
    I am not sure what a/c unit it has, but like the ideal if having fule a/c for the boy scout in us all, that if one goes out, you have a backup to still do the job during hottest mid summer heat.
    It did seem that the R.V.s that may had the large living room feel were with the TV being close to the end of trailer. That way it can be viewed and feel much deeper from the breakfast and kitchen room as well. Deeper feel equals larger area and feel.

    I still just love coming to Matt's videos just to watch Matt. Anytime I feel like the world has curb stomped me in the groin he makes me happy with his bubbly, excited, happy demeanor. He even _walks_ like he's happy lol. I _love_ this guy! As for this trailer? I was completely *_floored_* when he said 60 thousand! I was thinking up in the 200's! The bland, grey colors just take away from the beauty of the outside. Bleh. And I'm with Andrea...those faucets suck. But this thing is *massive*. And the price is totally unbelievable. That master bedroom is so cozy. It looks like you could use that dresser type shelf as a window seat. Those windows...sigh...

    WOW!! the windows are out of this world! Just the whole set up when you walk in is enough to stop you in your tracks! That's a CRAZY price! love, unlike mobile home it comes COMPLETELY FURNISHED! No payment to that furniture store and that appliance store, no bed/mattress store. All you literally have to bring is linens, tooth brush , food, clothes and towels, even the bedspread is included! Andrea (sp?) I know how you feel about light features with no glass BUT super easy to clean, dust. If I'm living in for a long time I would use the smaller loft for storage, using bins of course. Winter clothes, Christmas decorations etc. Once again my dislike and only dislike is just one bathroom for it's size that sleeps so many people. Thank you Andrea for reminding Matt to skip. I would have cried if he hadn't! lol

Dislikes: 1) The toilet cover 2) the ceiling height in the 2 upper bedrooms (an extra 6" would've been perfect), and 3) call me crazy, but I don't like all the carpeting, plus, if they NEED to put in carpets, why shag? Likes: 1)Stackable setup, 2) the living area (that is a fantastic kitchen since I LOVE to cook), and 3) the price!!! I could actually afford one of these, but I don't have somewhere to put it yet. • @paulnubreu6887
    @paulnubreu6887 Před 4 lety +18

    I love watching your reviews however I think the dislikes are silly when based on personal preference such as the color of something. IMO dislikes should be more tangible like a tiny fridge when there is plenty of space for a larger one.

    • @InfernosReaper
      @InfernosReaper Před 4 lety +3

      yeah, there kinda was a bit more room for a slightly taller fridge, but that wasn't really a big negative for me.
      I'm honestly not a fan of the layout of the kitchen and the use of the island. I would kinda rather have the sink be somewhere else so that space could be freed up for general use, so the people in it could customize it for their individual needs.
      I also feel like they might could've gotten done that one loft a little lower. Even a few inches could be a gamechanger with that.
      On the lofts, I really think they could've found some way to get an extra couple of inches on that one loft and *not* design it to let in all the noise and light from the main living space. Speaking of noise from that, one of the first things I'd do to the loft space, if I had one of these, close it off a bit so that there's less noise to disturb the people sleeping.
      I'd also probably install some curtains at the entries to the loft sections and between those 2 beds to give a little bit more sleeping privacy and noise reduction. It wouldn't be much, but every little bit helps with that sort of thing.

    • @jayjayhooksch1
      @jayjayhooksch1 Před 4 lety

      Depends on what you mean by value. These definitely look way nicer, so.if you value aesthetics then yes, but tiny homes are exactly custom to what the person wants functionally speaking, like solar/wood stove for off grid, and thicker insulation for 4 season capabilities. Also, trailers are prone to all kinds of roof, siding and slide problems. Tiny homes can be built much more sturdy, and they are going to be able to be updated and repaired much more accessibly.
      Pros and cons to everything! I like that these are just move in ready after you pick one. Tiny homes take months to plan and build at least.

    FINALLY a TRULY spacious shower! I’d rather see the manufacturer take an entire square yard away from the rest of the trailer/Class C in order to have a roomy shower.
    Overall a really nice unit for a family that owned lakefront property. Dark cabinetry not my preference, too dreary. Don’t like the black kitchen faucet. It would’ve been awesome if the staircase led directly into the loft area with no turns required. No Azdel a negative but I’m sure that would’ve increased the price point. Dual convection/microwave should be the standard nowadays.
    However, EXCELLENT shower, very roomy. Lots of windows. Overall a very nice interior design.
