- Jamaican food You have to try! Our National dish, Ackee and saltfish paired with one of Portland gems, Bussu Soup. This is a form of river snail that is found throughout the parish, rarely anywhere else in Jamaica. I also had some of Jamaicans favourite, red snapper fried with onions, pepper and more to make it the escovitch style! Pumpkin rice , fried plantain, festival and more!

Jamaica dont play,I was in ocho rios area 25 years ago,driving a rental and just exploring,so am pressing gas coming up this hill and I cant see no road ahead other than the little piece infront of me,so I start slowing down because there was no road down the road,,so am crawling in the car now on the road and there was this deep drop right into a river,no road sign warning anyone,they didnt even close off the road,never forget how Jamaica road his to this day,I saw you went under that bridge and I just remember how I almost died in Jamaica

Ackee and salt fish- had no fresh seasoning’s other than onion 😮 when it did ah fry dung
Ginger powder in curry- what about fresh ginger. What was they using before Badia seasoning? I didn’t see them burn the curry😮 I am very happy that they are using fresh coconut milk, I don’t get why some Jamaican people are using Maggie powdered milk😢
