- Paint Dance A Floating Cup Collaboration With Gail Burstyn of Life In Splatters - Acrylic Pouring
I just loved this collaboration with Gail Burstyn. We had so much fun with it. My paints were a bit thinner than Gail's so I do not get the exact same effects but it still came out pretty I think. I have forgotten how lovely the effects are when implementing the floating cup technique in acrylic pouring.
Please be sure to check out Gail's piece through the link below

Love love love! Two of my favorite ladies. Whenever you paint Sarah, whatever technique it is for some reason I can tell it’s your painting. You just got your own eyes and style, this is really beautiful!🙏✨
Sarah I love the minimalistic nature of this. Great colors. Great negative space. Nice Collaboration with Gail. Mack Mack did good 😊
Hi Sara I always liked your creativness Poonam India
J
I could tell that you really liked the composition and was hesitant in swiping through it . I also loved it. Sometimes you just have to go for it
You did Gail proud it's absolutely beautiful as was Gail's
Oh no!! I loved that coppery corner.
She swipes with floetrol & either Amsterdam t white or oxide black (Amsterdam). It’s beautiful Sarah you put your own spin & that’s what counts!!!
It's beautiful love the dash of green thanks for sharing keep well and stay safe
That was a “sitting on the edge of my seat” pour. The pour was always stunning but there was some nail biting moments 😂😂😂. My husband would say, “who are you talking too?”
It was all awesome- going to try this!
Thank you 🙏
Haha! Thank you so much ☺️
The white space really sets this off. I love when these incorporate a random, abstract feel to them. So beautiful!
Thank you!
You are freaking fearless with that plop of white and new pour right at the end of what I thought was a finished piece! Go woman!
Sarah I love the negative space and I love the green and copper together. That's just beautiful
I got mad then I had to agree. It came out real classy. I like classy once in awhile. Gotta diversify .
I liked it before the extra cup was added and after. I gasped and then watched as you finished this beautiful piece. Very nice composition and great color combo.
Beautiful just beautiful!
Sarah it’s gorgeous! I see it as a cross between Gail’s and Sara Taylor’s work, making it all your own style!
I love these colors together!
I can't believe you went over that lovely copper part - to me it was the heart of the painting! I do love your organic shapes and colours though. But to me it was finished just before you poured the white paint all over it! That's the artist prerogative, I guess! Lol!
I totally agree! It was beautiful before that last add on of the white and the cupful of paint!
15:00 it looks like a flower with leaves at the moment. Gorgeous.
I love this stunning creation
You definitely did her proud!!!
I LOVE this painting. Love the colors and movement. I did shout STOP at 16:19!
Oh my gosh Sara, when you added paint my husband & I said you should have left it alone, it was beautiful the way it was. I'm not sure if I like it better but it is your painting. If your happy, that's truly is what matters. As a newbie artist, I'm still learning what attracts a buyers eye, I haven't sold any paintings. I know what I love, & what makes me happy but that doesn't necessarily sell art. Ugh, you're successful, you have the eye, God bless.
I loved it before the 2nd flip, very ethereal.
It's got the WOW factor!
Beautiful.
Love it beautiful creation.
Two of my favourite artists great work loved the results
I'm always thinking 'stop now' and then you make it better! I'm learning to trust your instincts. I don't trust my own sometimes. Lol
Thank you so much
Beautiful!!!
I love the minimalistic composition and really like your colors better. Im fairly certain it's due to your adding the white mid slide so your paints had something to float on. It keeps the vibrancy of the colors.
Wow absolutely stunning 😍
As always. Beautiful ❤️🥰
Very unusual, gorgeous result. Thanks.
I see SO many things in this piece!
Beautiful
Beautiful Sarah!
Marvelous work, Sarah!
Wow wow wow cool

Thank you so much!
Good instincts! Great lacing in that second pour!!
Thank you 😊
Love great composition and colors👍👌
Beautiful!! It’s so hard not to play with it anymore!! Those are my famous last words!! Those pebbles !!!! Wow 😳 great job!!

Stunning Sarah. You are amazing! 🥰
This is gorgeous Sarah!!!! Love the negative space!!
Looks like marble!! So cool!
Nice collaboration you guys. Love it!
Super! Congrats!
My heart popped right out of my throat when you covered the copper. But, as usual, your eyes did not disappoint. I love your perception and technique.
Soft and pretty.
I absolutely love the fact that you do not just pour acrylic, but you control it! THANK YOU for these videos!
Elegant and subtle. Love this so much 💕
Thank you
Sarah, Sarah the copper! I always loved your genuine energy, no one’s influences. Like the water theme, the intergalactic theme that was you. You are the best. Au naturel... here is a theme.
Thank you so much Sylvie! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas
This is beautiful. I wasn’t sure when you dumped the white on it but it turned out gorgeous. Would love to see more of these. 🥰🇦🇺 off to watch Gail now
Thank you ☺️
Lovely! Thanks for giving something else to try!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Stunning Sarah
That is stunning. I was watching thinking 'ok leave it now' constantly - but you knew what you were doing and it's gorgeous!
Thank you
Love this!!! I was in shock when you poured over the large copper section but you made it work!! I want to see more videos!!!
Wow! Love it!
OHHH... I LOVE IT !!!! I had to watch it again !! as i do so many of yours !!! Love the light and airiness to it! And the green!!! not normally a color I would use... but it gave it a earthy, vine feel...its all the things and more that I used to love about watching your Ninja swipes!! Cant wait for more !!! PS.... I sucked air and then held my breath..when you threw down the white last minute and flipped another cup over it! LOL !!!!!
HHahaha! Thank you ☺️
Oh Sarah, OUTSTANDING!
Wonderful work I love it
This is beautiful!
I did not want to say anything as I love your work, and I know you pay attention to details... mid way through, you did take action to the top part where it need it a bit more balance. I adore you as you can see... I keep watching your creation, and appreciate you taking the time...
I love this. I am in awe of your creative choices in this one. Its really beautiful. I am going to try the Green Gold and Copper/Gold mix for sure because I love the way it tamed that. I gasped when you put that extra white on the canvas and then of course it was awesome! Really amazing Sarah, off to watch Gails.
Love this color palette 🧡💛💚
Interesting result!!
Beautiful & elegant. I love the colors & the negative space. Whatever you try Sarah, you get it right. I've watched you try the bloom, then the dutch pour, now this.... & you did it & made it look so easy as well. Wow, what can't she do 😀 I thought. Well done!
Thank you! As for what can I do....for certain MelyDs style cloud pours. I’ve been trying for two years and I always mess it up somehow where it doesn’t work LOL
@@SarahMackArt 😂🤣

Sarah, you are my favourite artist. This looks just beautiful.
Thank you 😊
I just love it!
Gorgeous
Very nice with your own touch...
What a beautiful job you did Sarah!!! I kept saying after every swipe you made, "Oh wow, that looks great!", and then you swiped again and AGAIN and AGAIN. lol Had you stopped at any time, it would have been a beautiful painting, but you kept going and the end results was very striking. I love those subtle colors and it reminds me a lot of Sara Taylor's work and colors. That green is gorgeous and I love earth tones so much and you really nailed it with this piece, Just a very dynamic but peaceful work of art. You did great with the plastic palette knife and that is something that I have to work up the courage to do a lot more of. It produces some great additions to the painting. What about that Aussie Floetrol?
Thank you so much for all your kind words! Sara Taylor does beautiful work I love watching her create! Aussie Floetrol would have worked great as well!
Beautiful Sarah. Very elegant with just the right amount of negative space. It truly looks like a paint dance!!
